The fact that the BOD have elected to raise funds via a placing rather than doing a JV or other deal with a third party shows HUGE confidence IMO. They clearly didn't want to dilute their 100% ownership of the KSZ at this stage so they must be pretty certain that they can prove what is there in the next phase of exploration. 73m shares dilution is a price worth paying I believe.

Well, as placing go, that seems to me to be a good one. My assertion that they didnt need to raise was clearly wrong. However, the fact they have got £1.9m (net) means there is NO need to do a deal with anyone at this stage on the KSZ, so we continue with an undiluted 100% which I am VERY pleased with. The 4.25p warrants will raise further funds in due course too. We can take the brakes off and get on with proving up a new Norilsk now we have the funds for drilling exploration programme.

I have to say this is one of, if not the, best boards! And Obelix takes the award for the politest poster ever! Long may both continue!

So, it is all over (bar the shouting!) and Biden has it, albeit without control of the Senate. So the hope of huge "green stimulus" is likely to be dashed as the Republicans will almost certainly not support it. At least on the proposed scale.
So, never mind the politics, where does that leave HZM? Will the removal of the uncertainty have any impact on Nickel, our financing or our SP? Limited, I would have thought, but it is at least one less worry wall that we have to climb now. Lets see what this week brings.

I think, as ever, we will need news to push this sigificantly higher:
KCB - soil sampling was restarted in early September (per RNS 29/9/20) with results to be reported in Q4
KSZ - per RNS 23/10/20 - "We will soon confirm our highest priority targets for the next phase of field exploration and will aim to begin the ground-based EM surveys before the end of the year. This will lead to drill target selection and a drilling programme in 2021."

So, my conclusion is that we are highly likely to get more news in the next couple of weeks if they are to keep to their stated timescales.

Clarification: YES to 15p being nailed on!!!

Short answer: YES!
If I didnt think 15p (minimum) would be achieved within 6 months, I would be invested elsewhere.
If we are financed and DON'T trade at 15p or above, I cannot see any way we don't get taken out, hostile if needs be. And at greater than 15p. So I believe it IS nailed on and you CAN make your life changes! :-)

There seems to be a lot of chunky buys going through this morning for £10k and £20k at a time. The sell of half a mil at 5.40 caused the initial drop but 6p looks achieveable today for me.

Down from 7p to 5.75p but given the market mayhem, probably not too bad a performance. Either the market starts to price in a sniff of a finance deal or this will remain the easiest way to double (or more) your money in weeks. Would be nice pre Christmas but I can wait until next year if I have to! Retirement pencilled in for mid 2022 so a big result before then is my only real deadline! Patience is a hard lesson.
