Looks like the placing shares admission churn has finished now. Hopefull a steady move upwards into '21. Should be due some news on KSZ EM long loop survey - possibly only after they have interpreted the results though....

I agree, the current mess will need to be paid for. I think it would be unfair to leave it for the next generation. My concern is the timing of any tax rises. We need an economic recovery before they start to squeeze! And any policy that makes pensioners have to sell to the family home to pay a tax bill will not be a vote winner! A "defered payment" might be possible but then you have, ineffect, TWO Inheritance taxes....
Anyway, I first need to get into a weathy enough bracket to worry. I am really hoping HZM will do that for me. Soon! :-)

Wasa - and now there is a proposal for a ("one off" - yeah right!) wealth tax of 1% on ALL assets over £500k per person. No better way to get the "movers and shakers" to leave the country IMO....

Really good news for UK Plc and fantastic news for the North East! Levelling up in action? With question marks over the viabilty of Nissan's Washington plant, this is well timed. The UK could really do with more than one battery gigafactory, but this is a good start.

I don't believe that the amount of 1.25m shares was coincidence. On the day we get notified that warrants of 1.25m have been exercised. They raised £31.25k. A nice little £20k profit on what I presume was a forward sale!

Now, what could they do with that...?

I think I misunderstood you! It is certainly a great position for KAV to have 3 licence areas making progress. I don't hold POW but am sure they will do well from their involvement here. I have a (dim) recollection that MM has mentioned Rio in the past? Or did I imagine that?

Mike, I disagree. I don't think POW will get anywhere near the KSZ. MM has always spoken of Majors being interested in what they are doing ,so I suspect that a sell out to one of the big boys, after proving their thesis of the KSZ being another Norilsk. It will need to be someone with DEEEEP pockets!

One of the posters on advfn grabbed 200k shares at 2.69 this morning. If I had funds, I would be topping up. The share is still quite illiquid and a few buys or a few sells can move it significantly.

Interesting to see that volume has picked up since the placing shares were admitted yesterday. However, the seller of 250k shares at 2.7p this morning will surely have cause for regrets in the (very) near future? I guess they must have had an urgent need for funds....
