Good interview with Zak in this 'Share_talk. Eg. Zak on Tils: "The markets are turbulent for example; Tizana Life Sciences (TILS) rallied from under 100p at the start of July to near 300p a few weeks later. It is now back near 120p with arguably better fundamentals than before the rally".

Hope you're right Bouncer. I'm going off this page in IR but I can't see any Oct/Nov/December news in previous years.

I know people are talking of an update in a month or two but looking at the routine releases we might have to wait till January. Anything exceptional would require an RNS but since they've already announced 'better than anticipated' sales it would have to be something EVEN better, (and hopefully we can exclude something somewhat worse).
I'd certainly top-up if there's a move towards 4p; I doubt I'd have the resolve to wait to 3.6p.
There could easily be 'news' that would surprise us – lots of possible scenarios – but I'm as sure as eggs-are-eggs that we'll test 7p again even if not till just before the January update. Seems as though we are always waiting but it's not that long since I was in the red but now blue feels the new normal.

Evening Wyndrum, You're absolutely right of course on the hybrid mattresses (and wouldn't disagree with anything else you've written) but what I like about the extras (hot water bottles etc) is that they shows a maturing in the brand (and presumably they are not selling these things at a loss) so a certain confidence that shows they are not hanging on by their fingertips any longer. That wasn't always the case.
I intend to sell my IAG shares as soon as the rights are paid for (HL say Thursday?) out of my account and I may use the cash here at Eve but I'm also interested in Snowflake in the USA. There isn't a board for them here on LSE so forgive me. They've just had their IPO and I have no idea if the price is high or low but what they do – cloud storage – seems to have quite a future. A dad at school works for them and that's why I noticed them. Anyone, pls do your own research – and don't blame me!

Wouldn't the trading update be around 7am and then the presentation at 4.30pm?

You're absolutely right goodapple. The range now bears no recognition to their offering when I first started to follow Eve, when they had one single mattress available in single or double size. If they make money on scent, hot water bottles sleep notebooks, as well as soft toys, there are few products that will be off-limits for them (maybe caffeinated coffee, but Eve-decaf, certainly.) Most stocks took a hit today (and I have a couple of them; IAG for one) but Eve shouldn't be too worried at the prospects under the covid shadow.

So looks like you'll get some of what you ask for. I haven't seen the campaign mentioned before but I don't read everything!
They've tried fast and loose with cash before and it didn't go so well. CC seems to have it about right, for my taste anyway.

I'm in here though don't usually follow this board; just here to look at 'what happens to the rights now the sp is so low'. Are people still buying them? I would also add that I'm in a couple of covid / covid testing stocks. I'll hang on here as I'm hopeful one of the covid stocks will come up with some positive news shortly and then also rescue IAG etc.
I shall keep an eye on RNSs from the covid treatments and tests (esp the ones in Southampton) and hopefully IAG will reap the benefits of positive news if /when it arrives.

Hi Pooley, The reason I knew of the issue was it was featured on Radio 4, 'You And Yours' consumer programme, I think on Thursday. They interviewed several bike shops / mechanics, criticising the way the scheme was run as their trade has become uneven and now quiet as they are waiting for customers after being super-busy. The link was one that lead to an an article that covered the story and could be read (no pay-wall) and I only fund it because I was looking to illustrate the point here as people wouldn't easily find 'You and Yours'.
Yes, people are buying many more new bikes. Still issues with stock apparently . The profit margin on repairs can be larger than sales. I've heard from a former Cycle Republic manager friend that some independent sellers were turning entirely to maintenance apparently as sales so competitive.

Didn’t intend to repeat myself but it took my second post to get my morning post ‘published’.

Apparently people are not getting their bicycles serviced as they are waiting for the next tranche of government vouchers - which means some bike mechanics have less work to do the normal. Hopefully the government will soon realise that things could be done better and even up the voucher supply.
