On another subject, not a word on Telegram about us at LSE tonight guys, as usual. There wasn't earlier either. Just complete untruth to suggest otherwise. Others might try to convince otherwise (I know a lot of people are on Telegram here but some aren't ). Some people can be very 'lose with the truth' when ramping. Must be desperate to get out and over committed which I understand but why lie?

I only realised after close that xeros went up so much It was 30% when I looked in the morning.. I'm still under water atm. Less so now.

Hi Dontgive, I suspect they'd do this later and only if there's some eve brand building first. DFS don't sell their own 'whole range' overseas at the moment so I guess they only push their biggest sellers and we are not there yet.

Yes, if Nectar are based in the USA that could have fitted but they do say investor rather than 'buy out' so that makes them, to me, not quite fit the bill as the investor.

Thanks dontgive, I think it's the monthly TP figures for eve that are the problem, rather than the grand total which includes lockdown. I only kept TP data once lockdown had begun so I can't compare 'now' with 3 years ago / pre-lockdown. The last couple of months are the lowest figures I have. Not being negative but they are just lower than the last 24 months' figures (which were during the 'ahead of expectation' time).

If eve are catching up with Nectar then they are perhaps having a tough time too and would like to buy eve and eve's market share?

Hi Aim, with respect I doubt that's true. On AVCT wyn saw problems with the LFT long before everyone else, and told me he'd sell if there wasn't good news RNS'd in 2 weeks. He then said he'd sold on the AVCT bb. I held my AVCT as I didn't want to sell for less than the previous high but of course they went to 40p or so rather than back up.. I think that was not exchanged on the AVCT bb as it'd have caused too much of a rumpus as is usually the case there. You can't actually have an exchange of views at all there.
I do think wyn was a little harsh on Kier which didn't go bust but with wyn it's 'on the balance of probability' rather than a prediction so that's fine.
I am hoping that wyn is wrong on eve otherwise I would sell now.

I just read your posting history GP7 (well a bit of it) and see you're a bit of a stalker!

The difference between me and wyn is that wyn seems to make money and I lose it (apart from one period when SNG was 246p; AVCT was >£2 and Tiziana (now Nasdaq) was also around £2).

Despite being in some of the same shares I am doing a lot worse but would like to rectify the situation. Eve is typical. I have held and wyn has gone. It would seem that you and I have more in common when it comes to eve than I do with wyn.

GP7, I like some of the points you make but when you say people are shorting, not holders (you accused me that is, not wyn) you undermine your own cred.

Wyn has been a holder and made accurate calls most of the time here and elsewhere. People have to do their own thing (I haven't traded any differently on eve due to any comment by wyn; I would be better off if I had but the game is not over yet. I suspect wyn likes the chat here 'cos its a friendly board and is interested in how things turn out.

I do occasionally see if anyone has ever shorted eve and don't think it's ever been done. That was missed opportunity wasn't it..
