Our Royal Mail postman brought our letters and a flyer from Emma today. Obviously I recycled it. Something about a discount of up to 50%. That's going to have cost them a bit to organise.

Yes, that is true, the investor might have triggered.
But they could have said no to the investor without triggering anything further. They were obviously ripe for triggering!

That's my worry dontgive, why do something, anything, that halves the SP if not essential for survival?

I'm not saying they couldn't battle on alone, that's my plan B 'hope' if there's no buyer..

Could all be true what you say dontgive, and certainly explains why DFS are not stocking eve products in the Netherlands at the moment.

Maybe eve are saying to DFS 'BUY ME' before someone else does, by launching the FSP two months after the arrangement to sell eve through DFS.. DFS can't really ignore it. It affects then now, whatever the outcome.

Having said that, if eve could have made things work alone we'd all be a lot better off so more likely that eve's hand has been forced, as most of us suspect.

On this basis the eve site alone is quite a serious investment (and valuable so long as it generates sales).

I wondered whether eve selling their good in the Netherlands could be a flag for DFS to consider buying eve, but probably not if this is true:

You could be right dontgive. Certainly if competitors knew the health of eve (esp bank balance) they could cause some mischief. Nevertheless, they ought to have the most informative TU they can, under the circumstances.

Surfie mentioned Xeros on here the other day. Was all doom and gloom there for weeks and months. Then it suddenly perked up quite a bit. It shows that *it can happen*.

We can't ignore that sales are down now (and money was tight before). In a sense they are not mutually exclusive, they would need a new investor to invest, or a buyer to buy out the company and so give more money to develop it to it's full potential.

CC wasn't born yesterday so they would've know that putting the company up for sale would look bad. They must have calculated that it was worth the risk (hardly a choice) but that it might not finish the company off if the sale fails. They must have considered what to do in a plan B situation.

Anyway, there without knowing the cash balance (as Yanis pointed out) we are just guessing at the real situation.

Let's hope that CC has the fight in her to go it alone if necessary, dontgive. If it really is her baby then she will keep batting. She's a talented leader and she'd be in demand elsewhere.

Thanks Yanis, yes, lets see about the TU. Sometimes I think they don't see it from the investors' pov and forget to give us important info. Probably we investors are equally guilty in reverse.

Your previous post made note of the Friday deadline for notifications, so any buyers might wait till then to pick up shares at the lowest price. I rise next week would be much appreciated.

The job advert for the National Sales Manager is closing 2:42pm, 16th Jun. They didn't pull the advert anyway.

Just looked at the website of Mark M7 comms, to see what other clients he has. Noticed a section on crisis comms > profit warnings> rebuilding investor confidence – which he is good at.
