Also, I was not rude enough during the science day to be on my phone while people were presenting at the front; I was listening. There were people on this this board (I noticed afterwards) commenting on the lack of info so 'attendees' followed the same thought. Wyn was posting I seem to recall (later, before you jump on that) during the presentation.

I've written occasionally to him since Jan 25, probably around the time SGC arrived on the agenda. His interest is specifically ACC. Of course he's more happy about something that produces '40% in selected ACC patients' than the RNS from Avct as it didn't really offer HIM as much promise.

Incidentally he tried to make contact with AVCT for more info a year or more ago and subsequently asked me for appropriate email addresses as no one replied to him. I didn't have anything I could give him. Maybe he isn't that impressed with Avacta's helpfulness.

And B2HS2L, I was at science day and wyndrum wasn't. Just 'cos YOU sometimes write posts that watching2 might it doesn't mean you're one and the same; I can get that.

It's not long since some rampers were saying CC should be staying at the best hotels in town when she visits a conference in the US. They probably are disappointed that Concorde isn't still flying so she could make a really big impression.

And I get called stupid at times for my comments.

The guy lives in the states. Going to the conference for him was perhaps like me going to science day. He focuses on ACC and there's good news fopr his people.

Then he gets called a charlatan for his effort by some ignorant type on here.

Comments on here don't usually shock me but this one did. Outrageous to say that someone is a 'charlatan' because he doesn't agree with you and another 3 posters on a bulletin board based almost solely on it's own self-interest.

Not implying anything. Just pasting a reply I had to me sending SGC RNS info to as US charity officer.

I have been sending him RNS info on SGC whenever there is SGC news. He doesn’t always reply.

A couple of days ago I wrote to the SGC charity man I am in contact with, regarding the AVCT latest data. Just had a reply. See below;

‘ I just returned from the ASCO meetings. It is interesting that there were some responses with AVA6000 in salivary gland cancer patients (7% in the abstract and 11% in the article below). However, there is no information on the histology of the patients and ACC is not mentioned. Separately, there were two presentations indicating response rates of over 40% in selected ACC patients with REM-422 and Emi-Le, so I was much more focused on that new data.

When I wrote to a SGC charity in the US to tell them about earlier results I received this comment:

'Thanks for the updated slide deck. Very interesting. I would note that both patients mentioned on pages 19-20 were treated previously with targeted therapy for the androgen receptor. My non-expert impression is that such treatments are typically reserved for patients with salivary duct carcinoma, not adenoid cystic carcinoma. Both are salivary gland cancers but have different characteristics.'

Seems not necessarily the same types of SGC in the trials.

(So SGC is a very rare cancer, hardly worth a pharma company's attention, to having having two companies trying to address the market. )

Next stop could be $306 and then? Back to all time highs? The AI angle makes me think I should just hold but I recall previous time at ath and being told by a Chartist it was unlikely to hold. At least I bought more when it was $115 though not enough. The fx charges make it hard to justify selling and buying back but ‘once bitten’ makes me think.

I see the price seems to rise for a couple or three months on the way up so no need to rush into decisions but this rise has been sharper than others.

You might be right Wyn but I think they are 'waiting to see’ as they can’t afford everything at once.

Not quite the same but there was a stunning house near us, worth a lot if done-up, but falling apart. ‘Sold’ signs appeared a few times, while roof slates disappeared and vandals smashed more and more windows, then sales fell-through as the price tag was fully appreciated. Obviously no one had enough cash to buy it AND do the necessary work, and the owners certainly couldn’t afford to do it themselves.

Then the equivalent of BF bought it. Hey-presto and in no time all done-up and potted bay trees outside the front door, fancy cars parked on the drive.

I think AVA6k works for SGC and Avct think it’s good enough for someone to licence it if only they leave the ‘partner wanted’ sign up for long enough. Meanwhile Avct focus on their priorities. (Anyway, I hope my theory prevails and I get to add an AVACTA tattoo to accompany my $snow tattoo)

The dip in the afternoon, around 3.15pm, was accompanied by only one poster here and it wasn't a 'troll'.

Loveable put my own thoughts much better than I was about to do. SGC is a ‘small’ market compared to others but still a huge market for a company owning a treatment which allows most people to survive. Common sense (and that’s all I have to go on) says that a partner must be waiting in the wings now that the heavy lifting has surely been done. And if AVA6k is the soc why would another rival start from scratch (off-label yes perhaps) in the niche that AVA6k is working for?
