Clearly some work has been done in this area. That suggest that either there is little to report between BR and Footrot or CB is keeping the results close to his chest.

Steve, I would have thought that if the survey had been done they would have reported it.
Seems perfectly logical that a geological trend like that seen at BR and Footrot could well extend between the two so who knows.

As funds are likely not to be as tight (due to Africa) as most exploration companies experience it seems well worthwhile doing this work. Whish reminds me, wasn't there a reference about 6 months ago to a drone based, broad brush look at this area? How that would work I can't guess as there's no physical contact with the ground but then artillery shells detonate above the ground based on the changing capacitance due to the presence of the ground. Don't understand the details of that but assume it would be a similar process.

Does anybody know if there has been any work (presumably IP survey work) even further south of the southern anomalies? Who knows, these things could go on for miles !

So,
what I take from the message we have received so far is that the existing pit is ~ 2Mt Cu and that the southern anomaly is at least that again! So, we're talking 4 to 5 Mt !!!
But, does CB mean one of the SE anomalies, or both.....

I had to go back an do a quick count. ART has produced 6 messages with a total of '0' approvals. What were you counting?

I'm pleased to hear you are not a troll. But you do seem to be impatient, a possible desire to get the 2Mt, grab the money and move on. Patience will allow that purse to grow bigger.
The fact that the market has not yet twigged to the prospects here merely means that the opportunities to top up are increased. The good times will follow and when they do things will probably move very quickly.

Which brings me to something I've been meaning to bring up before XTR prospects get the sort of acknowledgment it deserves. Yesterday, a troll made some comment about us all be mad if we thought this would soon be going to 8p (I paraphrase) and nobody responded which I thought was great. Soon, this board will be running alive with trolls, which in itself is a sign of success. Can I suggest that, as a group, we all refrain from responding. These people live on the oxygen of conflict and make comments just to get a response. If they are ignored they will go elsewhere. Anybody agree?

Looking at the IP plot referenced in todays RNS (last pdf), It does seem that the drilling done sofar has focused on the high resistivity (apparently low Cu) regions of the resource! In fact BRDD-20-001 (the first and very long (1145 m) drill hole) almost looks as if geologists were trying to miss any Cu in the area! Obviously prior to drilling they don't fully understand the lay of the land but my point is: if, as seems the case, the IP results mirror the resident Cu, then the those bright anomalies could have fabulous grades. A doubling of the size of the existing pit would be a minimum expectation.

I see the African assets as critical to the long term plan which is surely now Bush ranger. If XTR had no additional income (Africa) then a big miner could say 'take our (derisory) offer and remember that the longer you delay the more you bleed cash. With African cash XTR can say 'make us a good offer and remember the longer the delay, the more Cu we find and the higher the price. Just need Africa to come through in a meaningful manner.

It may be that CB wants to supply a steady stream of news. I realise there are limits to how (when) data can be delivered to the public but just a little delay to check the facts can stretch news into the weekend which then becomes monday, so expecting something early in the new week.

Howezap, I can see your logic. Get AA onboard with the existing pit but have some sort of agreement to continue exploration. Then the sp would fly.

From memory I think you are right about the drill hope positions. Using your dimensions that would require 450 holes (for measured classification) if going straight down, and they're not shallow. How long would that take?
