Just waiting for the price to drop below 6p and I'll have my last (I keep promising myself) top up. Getting close now. If it doesn't happen - fair enough and all to the good in the long run. I have enough to keep me happy but it would be nice to round up to number that allows me to do easy sums in my head.

Lincolnite, a month or so ago I started a thread asking what could go wrong for XTR and I think a few people thought I was being negative but in essence I was making the same point as you. Other than some black swan event like CB and his team running a Madoff like scam (which obviously I don't believe is so) or society collapses and there is no demand for metals, I can't see that this is not going to make multiples of cash for anybody that has invested in the last couple of years.
This is not a hopeful explorer asking for investors to make a bet on a good prospect. It's a company with a valuable asset(s) saying " does anybody fancy making some money - anybody?". Subtle but lucrative difference.
I think maybe the message is not yet out there yet but that will change and I do sense we are on the point of entering that phase where the penny will drop and this company will start to be appreciated by a wider audience.

Following the interview I made another purchase of 70000 shares at around 3 pm. It shows as 'unknown' .... basically because I got them at a very good price and could be interpreted as a sell !

One 'black swan' factor that has emerged recently is the war in Ukraine. Not that the war in itself will affect the price of Cu but should China side with Russia, it's possible that the West could sanction China and that could mean a surplus of Cu on the world market. Yeah, a bit out there but just a thought as these things have a way of snowballing.

If you believe that copper has a bright future, that Xtract has operated in good faith and that CB is an honorable man, that the assay results are valid and that somehow WW3 will not break out: then todays sp is a gift.
Unfortunately, I had a last buy as the sp soared just a few weeks ago thinking it would be my last chance to buy at these levels. Yes, I know, buy low, sell high! The problem is identifying the lows ! With the gift of hindsight short term highs can in reality be long term lows.
Still, waiting to see if the sp can induce me to part with more cash: it's getting to that point.

I'd have to disagree about the risk. 71 MT @ 0.44 % on its own is not attractive to a major minor. If it was, AA would have held onto it. They mis-calculated and assumed there was little more to be added to the resource. We, as a company, took that risk on and it's worked for us.

Ella, yes, it does look like some sort of ownership issue but I imagine if good results were found in that direction they would be able to make the effort to inspect that area.

One last thought. CB seems very keen to keep drilling to the north despite an acceptance that is resource is closing off. Would have thought the effort would be better spent focused to the south.
(I realise he also mentioned drilling to the south)

Guess that particular poster's sources are unreliable....

Interesting to look at the map of the proposed IP lines. Anybody else notice that the lines stick to the forested areas and stop immediately those areas come to an end. Is that the edge of the license? Thought the license was bigger than that. And if the license covers those areas, why stop when the survey should be easier to conduct.

Althouth I think there must be something happening behind the scenes I am surprised that drill completions are not reported. They are after all vague, mark-1-eyeball assessments of the copper content of the cores: nothing definitive. And we do know where the drill pads are so I find that surprising.
On the other hand, I guess if that information was released, we would be asking "if drill completions reported, why not assays"? Again, suggests something happening behind the scenes.

Howezap, I think there is a definite link between the reduced flow of news and 'stuff' happening in the background.
That makes life frustrating but I think the wait will be worthwhile.
FWIW: I think an sp of around 30p is possible, but realistically 25p. Any less and I would be disappointed!
