They raised �50m specifically for expansion into the US. I think I read that this was expected to last 2 years. UK is self funding now and there was �70m cash at the end of the last period (from memory) so with the UK making a profit and Oz progressing quickly funding is unlikely in the near future unless they announce expansion into another country.

Probably 2022 financial year and I was thinking �50m+, so a massive contract when planning permission approved. Hoping for an announcement this calendar quarter.

I wonder if the price increase today is related to Countrywide's abysmal trading update. PB current trading looking impressive. Perhaps PB are now bigger than Countrywide?

Sain, you should sign up for the competition. I'm sure none of us would mind you nominating your cash amount as a percentage of a £10K virtual holding as long as you do it today and not wait to see whether TEF end up with a gain over cash :) If we had you in with your part cash/ part TEF holding we'd be starting off with 5 different approaches. I'm 68% TEF and 32% CRST. Strictly is, I think, 55% TEF and then 45% evenly split between CRST & RDW. Terrace is 100% TEF and Paul (I think) is 6% TEF, 62% CRST & 32% RDW. If there are 5 of us then that makes each loser's cost just 1/4 of the price of a curry.

Sorry, I was thinking of BWY rather than CRST when I mentioned national diversification.

Terrace, Strictly's system is a lot more subjective than you think. He gives each company a weighting and also when he estimates future earnings he takes into account the historical reliability of estimates made by the company. TEF is not without its own risks. It's a small company so that a single deal or development can make a big difference. They also don't have the national diversification that the likes of RDW & CRST have. I personally think TEF is the most attractive of the companies I mention as they standout in terms of price to book value but I'm in constant turmoil over them. :)

Terrace on a forward p/e ratio basis using estimated eps figures TEF are pretty much in line with the likes of RDW & CRST. RDW themselves have given guidance of 95p earnings for 2020. StrictlyBricks will tell you Steve Morgan usually underestimates with his guidance. So perhaps the market has factored in TEF's often repeated growth prospects for 2018 & 2019 and the less dramatic estimated growth for the 2020 financial year?

Looks like Sain's doing his Xmas shopping. Reassuring to see the share price move on a positive announcement. The Greystar deal was much more significant and it did nothing for the SP. Hopefully a couple more like this deal on the horizon. This one looks like the profit element will be in 2022 if they find a BTR partner.

I used to get the IC on a Friday, have a look at the company results and share tips, and on the Monday morning anything that had been tipped as a 'buy' was usually up 10%. Same with the Mail on Sunday. That was before the internet though. It sounds like Chrisp Street will sell like hot cakes.
