I wouldn't know as it's not really something I'm knowledgeable about.
However if there's a general lack of stock available to borrow, would that not be a factor?
Somebody over on the iii PB share chat was talking about the IG Index closing of positions issue and said....

Now this is making the assumption that the shares that IG borrowed (and it seems Spread-ex) were from one of NW funds. As I understand it PURP is one of the few shares in WPCT that could be sold to avoid breeching banking covenants........

Just providing the info. As I say it's not really something I understand fully and as that guy says, everybody should do their own research.
