If the cinemas are fully listed companies in their own rights then technically we don’t own any shares in them. We own shares in Cine PLC which doesn’t have any assets (according to your theory) but is loaded down with debt.

They’re taking down the PLC and as they’ve stated the operating “assets” remain untouched.

They wouldn’t be going down this route unless they knew legally they had it covered. Any administration / legal procedure would throw it out immediately.

Although the judge has already deemed them “hopelessly insolvent”
