well bcl, if i could predict the future....... what I can do however is go back to the reasons why I invested in Kibo in the first place and that may help explain the reasons why I am still here today, having not sold a single share in over 5 years and still buying when the opportunity arises. The fundamentals and the strategy of supplying electricity to an underdeveloped region of the world to enable it to take it's first steps into industrialisation have not changed one iota. This region of Africa has and always will have the largest untapped mineral resources on the planet. No one could have seen coal becoming such a dirty word, but i still strongly believe and so does Kibo, hence the strategy shift towards complimenting coal with renewables , a kind of bitter sweet approach. Coal is not dead, far from it and as soon as the west accepts that it has had it's industrialisation and dumped it's fair share of emissions into the atmosphere over the last 100 years, it's now time for them to clean up their act and allow Africa to use it's resources to achieve it's industrialisation goals. It will happen, however it just requires going round the block a few times more and coming at it from a different direction. When you look at the names that have and still have association to Kibo, the likes of GE, NRF, SEPCO, etc,etc. these are not micky mouse organisations, they know far more than me, and if they are still associated today as they were back then, then they clearly still see an opportunity and that is good enough for me. In terms of shareprice going forward, i have had to seriously adjust my expectations, 5 years ago it was a pound, 2 years ago it was 10p, now i'd be happy with 3p, but going forward and the big if, if we see some of the milestones being achieved that have been mentioned and I don't see any reasons why they won't be with sufficient funds behind us to progress them, then possibly upwards of 5p is possible, in fact anything is possible on AIM, high risk =high returns or F**k all. You pay your money you take your chances and I like quite a few others who have been here a long time that don't post anymore, i can assure are still fully invested and adding when possible. They just choose not to interact here anymore as it has deteriorated into a cesspit of particularly disingenuous characters.

I think you will find that a lot of the placing shares were certificated and therefore will not show as buys , just saying.
Also it's of no business to you what price people are buying at, they are buying at the prices reported as buys, simple as that. You buy at the price you want to buy at and sell at the price you want to sell at. If you think for one minute that everyone on here says 0.35p then it's going to drop to that price just because you want it to, then you are deluded. Pay your money, take your chances, just like everyone else, and it if doesn't go the way you want it to, tuff s h i t, and if you can't deal with it, then quite frankly you shouldn't be investing in AIM.

You want to just listen to some of you lot, keyboard warriors, how many of you have actually gone to the effort of meeting the board of Kibo? None of you would be a pretty good guess.
I am by no means an expert in delivering strategic infrastructure projects in a country and what that actually entails, let alone trying to deliver this in an under developed continent saddled with generations of corruption. But I do understand the difficulties of business and working in that region of the world better than most on here.
Do you think in the developed world everything is so much easier to accomplish, I don't think so? how long has the UK been trying to deliver HS2, how long has the UK been trying to build a 3rd runway at Heathrow? how long have we been trying to get a deal through the EU?, that's just a few examples of things that the UK should be able to do, so why can't we?
I'll tell you why, it's because life and business isn't quite as simple and straightforward as the bloke who sits behind a keyboard and may or may not have a few of his quid gambled on making a quick profit on wishes it is.
I don't for one minute think that the board of directors sit there thinking up " far fetched statements" to mislead or deceive investors. They make statements based on the facts and the strategy that they have for delivering their objectives. And without aspirations and entrepreneurial spirit, which has to be the same for any company then we would not live in the world in which we live in, and no, not everything goes according to plan, but if you have determination, you will succeed eventually. It may not fit with yours on my agendas or timescales, but hey, **** happens, so suck it up and grow some.

i'm not happy and i'm not clapping either, in fact i'm not sure where this happy clapping reference came from in the first place, however to answer your question, despite the recent placing and the damage that it has done and will do, it has to the best of my knowledge not changed the assets that the company has. I am slightly unsure about the reference to renewables and what impact that will have, having said that, this placing didn't just materialise in the last 2 weeks, but the progress on Botswana coal 2 liquid did and as far as i'm concerned that says coal in whatever form is not dead as has been alluded to. We all have take responsibility for our own investment decisions, i made mine and i take full responsibility, I cannot blame the Board or more specifically Louis or anyone else for that matter. I'm not interested in partaking in a placing, but i did purchase another 1.2 million this morning at a reasonable price in my opinion and averaged down just a little bit. So lets see if that was a stupid move or not, time will tell, as they say, speculate to accumulate.

Oh the ones who have just lined their pockets, having for years stated that they saw no material benefit in purchasing shares in the company. i'll tell you what's fair for your shareholders, try delivering something tangible that adds value to the shareprice for starters.
