I guess they’ll take advantage of any beneficial opportunity - I had not foreseen the suggestion of a new or additional ‘policy’ change, to me anyway, already run over backers and an additional ‘potential backer with proposals.’
But I can be unfairly criticised for not attending myself.

Shows as well, as one might expect, the influence that Wyloo in particular will have in Ggp decision making.

Perhaps I misinterpret this - but I find it indicative, broadly speaking, ex Havieron, of a picture of Ggp securing tenements and hiving them off to developers/miners in exchange for royalties. Doesn’t fit with perhaps my wrong previous assumption of direction of travel, through active mining on a JV basis or something akin.

I have been looking into cross listing a bit, as I hopefully see it as having the potential to tie down a meaningful proportion of the nuisance floating shares. Very basic start for me, some go to dual but the effect should be the same.
Just starters, is all, and I don’t know if they’ve even started the application process yet.

Hi All. Great meet last night. When SD was asked about 2 year plan and 5 year plan. He was very very confident that we will see positive cash flow and dividends from HAV. When pushed on the 5 year plan his answer blew me away "we will become a royalty player" That is very good news. ATB Speedy

I was interested in the remark posted earlier Mr. Day was reported to have made last night. I can’t get to it now, but it was about Ggp becoming a ‘royalty company’. Something along those lines.
If so, would that mean Ggp would not pick up development costs on future discoveries, and receive an agreed %age on minerals sold. Job for Wyloo, perhaps.

I wonder what company point Bamps is actually making there. I’m in his and others green bi.

We all do that to some extent, if we can. It’s what happened here.
But what do you suggest they’re “in the know” about. Is it good, or bad?

I think it’s his job though, to get on with tying up some of the free float through creating institutional interest, and ASX is part of that.

I have only been reading what Mr. Day is said to have said and interpret it. That he cannot control who buys, who holds, who sells, and without sustained buying and holding the price may suffer. Seems fair to me, and pretty obvious.

Any low balls will be dealt with in the usual way, and in the end if a bid meets with board approval, having run it over major non bidding significant shareholders, as they do, it will go to a vote. Usual corporate thing. Simple as that.

Sometimes I look at things more in the round. Things can change, and that is the stated objective. At the moment, it appears despite it’s assets and potential, and Havieron is big, Greatland is a tiny company. A handful of employees, perhaps including board members. I can be put right on that.

Part of the question was will it get bought out by NCM.
The matter of takeovers is always moot. Hypothetical until reasons/substance arrive. But it would be completely illogical not to continue to improve what at some time may come up for sale in order to get the best price.
And in this case, it’s NCM who are pressing ahead. So no shenanigans from them, when people for some reason talk about delaying tactics.
It’s a discussion point is all, against a background of the CEO himself I believe suggesting the company was vulnerable to a bid.
Lots of yesterday was spent on it.
I actually think Wyloo are somewhat moving into a driving position.

I think that puts it quite well. Wyloo now a White Knight in takeover parlance versus NCM, possibly going black as time passes successfully for Ggp and/or the ones going to make a good offer ( dependent on what we paid )

I toy with remembering that the Havieron project and JV is a legal entity of itself within the Ggp and Ncm portfolios. So as an aside, and not knowing what is within the JV agreement, I think it does not necessarily directly follow that an acquisition of Ggp brings with it the 30% Havieron share without procedural agreement as agreed or further negotiated.

Especially with Wyloo warrants lined up to take them to 14% anytime they want. If the situation came to a much earlier than anticipated vote.
