All a bit loose under the circumstances, legal and so on. Not concerned about that as an issue particularly.It’s arguably ‘delayed’ to align with Newcrest. That’s the top and bottom of it, in my opinion.

I don’t think anyone would argue the objective is to mine economically, and sell stuff at a profit. Investors can then make judgements on the accounts.

I would expect some sells when it goes over 10%, so it will be interesting to see what near future sessions bring, and whether today represents a change in sentiment.

That’s not to say there is necessarily a bar on something in the meantime subject to agreement between Ncm and Newmont. Then it may be up to Ggp, playing off developments.

Yes. There’s nothing wrong in at last seeing potential in a premium to a share price as maybe the ‘worst ‘ option available.

What I’m on about is what Mr Baxter was on about. Disposals/acquisitions happen. And like everyone one else, I look at perhaps the least palatable options as well as the best. But a premium to a share price is usually to be welcomed on what might be regarded as a least palatable option. What might be the outcome at a base level for my own cash.

I like the new board, the mine, and so on. Positive on the assets and all that.
But one has to remember that if one aspect of Mr. Baxter’s Win/win, in a corporate sense comes to fruition, then Ggp/Hav just could go on without its public shareholders.
As I said before, it’s only one of the possible outcomes, and will be fuelled by the corporate types, of which Mr. Day is one.

It has been my point on that subject that Ncm will look after themselves regardless, in the same way as would be expected of Ggp.

Presumably Ncm and Ggp have identified at least a targeted cut-off date between them, if Ncm are to publish in August. And one imagines Newmont would have an interest in updated resource, progress toward publication. Failing that, Newmont would have to rely on existing information going to that, as provided also to Ggp.
When, maybe if, Ggp goes mining with H, it will become so much easier when potential investors can look at matters that then stand, on a P and L, balance sheet perspective.
