Whatever might, or might not occur, and a DTM is officially made, as anticipated, having taken steps to stay in touch with Wyloo’s buy in price, I shall be satisfied whilst the share price trades in the order of 8.2p. pending any catalyst for change occurring.

It’s a share deal at the moment too, so one would expect Newcrest to be doing their bit in the opposite direction.

It could come any time, but there’ll still be any amount of stuff to work through before a completion date is reached. Doesn’t prevent usual course of events being followed in the interim, or any action agreed twixt Newcrest/Newmont in the interim - but I think that would be unusual with these things.

Purely from my own perspective, and whatever happened in the past, the waters have been muddied, not in respect of H’s future, but by the different outcomes eventually coming from corporate actions, potentially. Telfer is central to that.
We’re waiting to see. So might others be.
But I do, in general terms, go along with the win/win scenarios postulated - some outcomes taking longer to work through to individual benefit from a shareholder perspective.
