I can’t help but come back to Telfer as things stand. And Newmont will have it.

You see, taking a step back all options still open is my rather obvious view.

Ggp going through its own plan, more than just H - asx etc., with no idea of what Newmont have in mind save for maybe some insider chat.

Which cannot be relied on, as Newmont still waiting to officially appoint a board, who will take time to review their assets based on reports, and them plotting their own future.

I think it remains that the possibility of corporate moves could have a greater effect than anything happening in-house for Ggp. That was, after all, the hot discussion on here.

I mean, subject to recommendation and a vote the huge Newmont could gobble up Ggp in a trice if it put its mind to it, and Wyloo shares with it. Not a forecast, but just part of that old said to be win/win scenario.

I don’t think it’s possible to second guess Wyloo’s intentions as a Ggp shareholder. We have to rely on the Ggp/Newcrest going on Newmont partnership, with Newmont getting 70%.

There’s no doubt there will be a vote on reorganisation, if it’s to be proceeded with.

I doubt there is a need, or intended to be one on ASX listing, which is going through the process it appears anyway, raise or not.

There will be a vote if reorganisation proceeds as indicated - last RNS on the matter said so.

I know of nothing in the Companies Act or Articles of Association that requires a vote for a cross listing. In any event, I would have expected that to be reflected in the same RNS. It is not.

There are two things happening, an ASX listing and a reorganisation - which may or may not occur - in conjunction with that listing.

The reorganisation which is being evaluated involves the formation of a new Australian parent company through scheme of arrangement in UK court. As I see it, it is the reorganisation which we may vote on, if persued.

I wait on information by RNS.

To be totally fair, if there is a raise, and that’s officially the position, there’s a lot of difference in what might happen. Number of shares, premium or discount, and indeed purpose. On purpose, my best guess is that if there was one it would be in connection with fully financing the H project to production on an enhanced MRE/mining plan.

And they’re away. Improving the EPS little by little.
