In Havieron terms, I don’t see the BRICS meeting as significant, though yours may be a general point on gold-buying overtime, to a point in time where the gold-backed currency becomes feasible in practical terms.

I’m of the view a new currency may get a mention as a potential future aspiration next week.

I believe Telfer too is handled by contractors. They were at one time in dispute with Newcrest as the contract left them losing money. I don’t know how many actual Newcrest employees are involved in the Telfer operation.

My feelings are that the listing date is flexible. Anything, including the MRE, to assist in marketing the listing should logically precede it, and certainly accompany the prospectus.

The listing date can be adjusted to accommodate. Why would anyone do otherwise?

Unless he has some cunning plan to list, then whack out a MRE. But it would look a bit odd, having really not done a to date prospectus. Particularly if there had been a placing on listing at much less than market price.

I’ve moved on with it. I think it’s sensible now to expect it prior to prospectus, or part thereof, if Ggp is to be marketed transparently on ASX
