There’s a lot of water to go under the bridge. Newmont I would have thought would want to know what’s down there, the looks of it on profitability and life of mine, to slot it into their future plans. Or not. So I’m very open to what posters here may see as a delayed decision. Possibly at least to FS.

But as pointed out to me by Dip I’m no business whizz kid.

I wouldn’t argue it. I’m biased, I don’t want to see Ggp reverting to explorer, albeit with cash in the bank.

But, the sale of Ggp with Hav is a different matter.

The Newmont business has upset the planning. And could possibly have implications for management employment. There’s nothing in it for them if H is sold, professionally or monetarily.

I see the win/win by Callum Baxter, and appreciate his shareholding, yet it may be he was reflecting on the project in corporate terms, rather than as a shareholder.

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Mr Tyrrell will lead Greatland's technical team and oversee the transition of Havieron from development to production including the integration of Havieron into the Telfer processing plant.

I mean, one joiner, the new COO, I think it is, will be relieved of the responsibility he’s bee given of seeing Havieron ore into Telfer, for starters.

Wonder what the heavyweight board would make of that change in circumstances.

You know that’s all borrocks. They’ll either keep or divest, funds for them either way. No money in letting assets moulder away.

I discount mothballers.

He’s talking about the combined assets, of which Havieron will likely be one, and how they might fit into their forward planning on cost and output.

No saying how long. Could even wait for a feasibility study.

Yes. Well, I had all this before with you and others, when Newcrest was supposed to be getting JP Morgan to short whilst Biswas was nipping around buying Ggp shares.

And when the MRE was not being published so Day could pick up 70% on the cheap.

So I’m not impressed, either.

That’s what he said. He best make good.

Look Dip, all anybody’s saying is we expect a MRE as soon as reasonably possible now.

Nothing more. Your lengthy posts, no harm in that, are of no assistance in that respect.

My point there is there’s not much cause for debate, though some insist on having it around the timing of the MRE. And no one is arguing what it will contain. They can’t.

Mr. Day is very clear in RNS to the market, and that is what counts. There’s one coming, completion this quarter.

There’s no reason for long posts about Newmont and tactics around it, with yet more delay inferred.

It’s a rerun of the old nonsense about tactics, despite one expected from Newcrest, allegedly, and now commissioned by Day which Newcrest/Newmont will both know about.

That was a bit extreme. I withdraw it.

I’ve given no forecasts, on MRE or anything else to do with Ggp, save options and possibilities, preferences for what good that’ll do.

I don’t take too well to some of the spin, is all.

I think it’s quite a biggie for the MD’s cred if he doesn’t get one out in reasonable time as promised in RNS. So he’ll do his best.

I’m not expecting other than what we get. I can’t remember seeing any pi forecasts, guesses.

You’re right, we both know SFA about plans. What Newmont will choose.

Just the MRE as per RNS.

What’s to unsettle anyone else about that.

Spade. I of course support Day and Ggp.

I don’t support those who try to put spin on non publication of MRE, and seem discontent about one being published in line with what the market has been told.

And put spin around how holding it back will advance Ggp in negotiations.

In my view, it’s nonsense.

But you believe all that if you want to. I don’t.
