He’s got to balance Ggp shareholder interest and expectation, with constructive partnership and agreement.

Makes sense for JV partners to be singing from the same hymn sheet. I’m more than happy that JV partners share information. Both ways, of course.

It may be relevant that publication of the MRE was promised by end December, though in the latest it refers to completion rather than publication.

Want one as promised and because it’s promised, but can’t see a slow or quick MRE as being advantageous or not in a corporate way.

On costs, etc., it’s why I think there’s sense for Newmont to have all the facts, including the FS before committing to much.

Whatever, a decent outcome as I see it is to get to mining or as close as possible, with Newmont picking up 70% of costs, whereupon if Ggp do buy more then the cash from increased cash flow can flow back into future development costs, pro-rata. And support exploration.

It’s not even clear to me that an opportunity to buy 70% or a large portion of that is something that is exciting to Ggp, though Mr. Day has suggested the cash is available and Ggp would be at least some sort of bidder on what might be under consideration if it comes to that.

They pleasingly do business as usual pending unknown just possibilities of unknown developments at unknown times.

It extends beyond the existing mine plan, which is funded. The funding derisked substantially for us.

You say little business logic, but that is Mr. Day’s contention, whichever way around it does or does not go. And it’s him that threw the eye-watering into the mix.

But it’s pretty clear, nomatter what anyone here posts, the market at the moment is not anticipating a fairly quick sale of Ggp and pocketing a premium.

We like to try to get something sorted in our minds about acquisitions and disposals, and it’s reasonable to expect that at some stage Newmont will make their intentions known. Yet we all know that anybody can make a bid for anything at any time in the future.

Yes. Though the funding agreed with the banks in September 2022 is for the specific purposes defined as per the RNS at that time - supporting a 30% share of Havieron development.

Giocavazzi seems to be the man. Wyloo are strategic investors, part of getting Ggp bankrolled. They may be content with their current holding and warrants, or want more. Pure speculation around that.

I think posters will naturally look for news in February in hope of an early decision, picking that up from a Palmer comment when he mentioned that month whilst generalising.

It may not be that quick for Havieron, until Newmont knows exactly what it has, value over volume and the other comments here.

Apart from completion it is Mr. Day’s aim to have one published this quarter.
