Can anyone kindly tell me where I can find details of the farm in agreement with Storm referred to in Bill.’s comments please?
And despite the MMs marking the sp down on opening it has bounced back strongly with some chunky round number buys, so the market seems to like it so far.
Whilst it would have been good to have had a specific update about progress with Grupo Bimbo, there is nothing to suggest it is off track, indeed, on the contrary, within the £14 m pa forecast we still see the sharp increase in D2P bread packaging revenue to from next to nothing to £2.5m. That, in my view, will be in large part due to the new contract. The relationship with Grupo Bimbo is long standing, as I note from their website that they have been using D2W for a decade. It is the adoption of the D2P bread packaging tech which was new and it is still only six months from the announcement so, as the figures suggest, still too soon to impact much on 2022. They are bending over backwards to make it clear that we are on the cusp here of a significant shift to a much better commercial/financial phase. All imo only and Dyor.
A bit of a mixed bag with the delays re the Middle East factory and resolution of destocking issues being a disappointment. However, the outlook is very upbeat with profitability expected in Q1 2023 and the guidance of an annualised run rate of £14m in revenues maintained.
If anyone is in doubt about what “reserved matters” require a unanimous decision under the Shareholders Agreement, I suggest they review the terms set out in the RNS of 5th December 2019. In my opinion there are at least three that could potentially cover an off take, either because it forms part of the funding plan, or constitutes the disposal of an assset, or is a contract, of sufficient value pa.
Bad luck and commiserations to all those invested. I sold out here at a big loss in November and thought I could end up regretting that decision. Now it is clear that I was incredibly lucky as this would have wiped out what little was left of my investment. It’s quite shocking how some of these companies can destroy shareholder value. Shameful.
Of course not. I have only the same information that is available to everyone else. You either believe what the company have been saying or you don’t. I do, and presumably you don’t, but I can’t see how trashing the company you say you remain invested in is going to help your investment. But hey, if it helps your stress levels to do so, then I am sure you will carry right on.
So, to put my money where my mouth is, I have taken a few more shares this morning. I will be disappointed if we don’t get a trading update fairly soon, preferably before Xmas as per last year.
Bo77ock7 - mate, I. Just had a look through some of your recent posts across the board. Almost universally cynical/negative about everything. You do realise we are in the middle of a bear market? Nearly everything is down loads irrespective. It’s nearly Christmas. Crack open a nice bottle of wine and chill. This will come good imo, just a matter of when.
The direct endorsement of Symphony’s D2W product by Chris Packham on YouTube was pretty decent PR, albeit several months ago.
Personally, I think this is a decent package given the context of recent large contracts and the prospect of revenue growth in the short term.
Although the equity placing was only for a small amount the placing price of 9p at an over 40% premium shows real confidence, as does the supplier accepting a CLN in lieu of payment at a very reasonable rate of 3% pa. It’s also convertible at 9p so, again, at a premium.
The debt facility may well be more onerous at 2% a month but it is notable that repayments are deferred for three months and there is no penalty for early repayment. Sure they get warrants but only at 7p which again was at a small premium to the SP before the announcement. It’s clearly designed to provide cash flow at a critical moment and to facilitate delivery of orders. I wouldn’t be surprised to see part of it paid off early once revenues from the new contracts start to flow in.
I bought some more.
More positive assays out. Cracking on with further exploration/soil sampling in January.
