going to go today, record high or are we in for a dip??

they don't have to sell, so long as they buy into the new FTSE250 company, it may pay for them to let the price rise a touch more before selling.

didn't reach my limit buy, fell short again in the afternoon while i was out, by about 2p again, i'd reset it for tomorrow at a couple of pence above that, but, now with the news confirmed of the FTSE100 re-entry i'm wondering if we might breech 600?

or, as I speculated yesterday i thin it was... news was afoot, and has it now already been priced in ?

I had a target set but no limit sell, and we passed that yesterday, and i was looking at the trend and didn't pull the trigger, i could easily have done.... i've been caught before not selling when i should have, and it's cost me a lot of money, to the point where i'm still in the red with one that i didn't need to be.... so, did you make a profit, i'm going to assume yes.... then nothing to feel bad about, money in the bank, there will be plenty of opportunities to make up what you think you lost.

i've set the limit sell, because i'm terrible at pulling the trigger and having sat through one target, i know i get blinkered and greedy

well i set a limit sell for my entire holding, and true to form it stalled 2p short of it lol

i dunno but i now have a dilemma...... of the opposite nature to my usual ones!

we've always had a reasonable institutional support I think, and any increase in that shareholder base should only help to stabilise the shareprice

it's like a delayed reaction from the results?.... or perhaps some other good news is about to be delivered and has leaked somewhere, I dunno

when will the f'wit admit we need a partner and joint venture and simply for once do what's right for the company and long suffering shareholders

actually yeah, one of my "shouldn't have bought these i'm miles down" shares lol

.... but yeah, everything else was a mess, although Royal Mail was doing ok then took a big tree shake this morning but recovered, my concerns with this one is it takes a lot of slow steady gains to get anywhere, and then you get kicked in the teeth hard, which is why I don't think this is good for any substantial gains for a long tie.

well that's me baffled, mm tree shake is a possibility i guess, but blatant manipulation if that is the case.

yup, and now about 5% down, again a joke, no stability

sh.it show, took the best part of 2 months to scrape that far over 800, and then in one day 35 (ish) pence removed for sod all reason, that's the problem with this share, too volatile in one direction for no reason

Other than the line about expecting / planning for a 20p dividend in 2021-2022 did anyone see anything regarding scheduling of these ?

Because unless i'm mistaken, this special 10p one off dividend (i still dont like the july Ex date and September payment date, that's just BS) is on the same schedule/date period that the Interim would normally be.

or is that 10p classified as in 2020-21 financial year, because it was declared on the 30th March (another joke if it is)

Using the data from these 3 links, I still can't work out how they decide which dividend is in which financial year, look at the last full year where we had both dividends paid, (year ending 03/2019) and you'll see what I mean! the 17p dividend wasn't even declared in that time period

this is getting ridiculous, tot he point where every results time we need to be selling our shares and buying back after, wtf!! sensible and not inconsiderable dividend plan for next year, Chairman says "The Group has delivered a pleasing set of results in what has been an unprecedented year." earnings per share 3 times over last same period last year or double if you used the adjusted figures, operating profit up 116%,

....and shareprice down 3% what an absolute joke the financial institution is

yeah,, but this isn't the regular dividend, this is a one off special dividend, as you know the scheduled investor orientated dividend plan had to be put on hold during the whole pandemic period, and now we are waiting to see what they say in the next results and then perhaps after we'll get news of the boards plans and roadmap for dividend
