RE: hahaha told you it would break £627 May 2021 11:20
@Redco thanks, yeah you've captured my thoughts pretty well, and I too have gotten into the "habit" of being a RM shareholder, perhaps because I bought right from the IPO, perhaps because on both sales i've made a good % profit, but whilst my greed has caught me out a few times with various high risk risks, I will agree over 600 is potentially uncertain ground for RM. I sold last time at 598 and put all of that money back in once the price fell back a bit, and then some as it fell, I didn't (and i don't think anyone else did either) see the big fall coming, but i've always said this should be a 500+ share.
As for those accusing Red of selling up and wanting lower, so?... isn't that what we all want, to buy low and sell high!! he's not trying to influence people one way or another, he's simply stating an opinion and pointing to history, and to boot saying he has sold some but not all... pretty transparent if you ask me.
Now i made a healthy profit with my sale the yesterday, it has solidified my portfolio in the green rather than just on paper so to speak, the profit i made has covered some substantial losses i'm currently carrying, but, I will probably be re-investing the whole amount back into RM, perhaps before the dividend, perhaps not, given the way the markets have been reacting after ex-divi dates have passed by a few days, sometimes becoming blinkered on the "free money" dividends appear to ebe distracts from the fact you might be better off selling your holding and buying back on the dip and making more in new shares than the dividend was worth..... nothing is free!
If this goes to 610 as someone said it might earlier in here, and it would not surprise me, then i will not be bitter and will be happy for those still holding.
