Backlog of procedures7 Feb 2022 10:14
A few of my thoughts:
Using UK as a model, but being conscious of the fact that this is a global issue, med-tech companies are set for huge growth in the next 3 years.
In the UK, we have at least 5 million people, 7% of the population waiting for some kind of medical procedure.
Huge government funding via council tax is being poured into the health care services to support this.
As the backlog begins to be attacked, the need for medical devices will dramatically increase.
This can be seen across Europe, USA and in other major and emerging markets in South America and Asia.
This is a business with a diverse portfolio primed to exploit this exceptional need.
I am heavily loaded up here, 5 year minimum.
