If they intending taking SYN private I believe it will have to be done with shareholder approval or BoD will have to offer to buy out the shareholders (how?). That said the BoD could engineer a situation where the Company is no longer able maintain minimum AIM qualifications and hence be forced to leave. If they take it private whilst retaining any shareholders those remaining shareholders are subsequently extremely vulnerable to being diluted into oblivion. Moreover how on earth do those shareholders ever get to value or liquidate their shares?

That is a totally baseless and one-eyed view that can not be validated with any form of substantive fact or information; in short, just pure conjecture.

Wryape - both gas and hydro used to produce electricity so they can be substituted one for another at that point.... and I don't see gas as being any "cleaner" than hydro; arguably less so.

Further funds for what? Galactica is self funding for the drilling of another 16 wells leading, eventually with a significant surplus. Rukwa will not need funding until they require building of the production facilities which, we have been told, will be largely funded through JVs with suppliers of off-take and production facilities together with lending. The equity component of any future funding will be minimised. This is all known and readily disclosed and all in the price. Indeed I would suggest that the current sp is considerably below where it should be precisely because of the CLN debacle. What is unknown is the profitability of the Rukwa project, which will become clearer after ESP results are known and, if positive will cause a significant positive shift in momentum and MC.

I fear that "banging the drum" would be as far as they would get. Hollow promises and bluster with zero meaningful action on the growth front. Indeed with such things as the rise in minimum living wage and changes to the salary sacrifice rules it seems they are doing all they can to stifle growth at the alter of increased welfare spending...

Well I am also expecting some Rig contract news soon and today have bought back most of those I sold earlier in the year - though am keeping some powder dry, as I think we will be waiting a fair while yet for the long awaited CH1 spud.
