Fundamentally HY I prefer AEX because, over the course of the next three / four years there is expected to be a lot more activity frfom AEX than for WEN; with FFD at Ntorya, remediation of KN1, a new Kiliwani drill and the possibility of acquisition and diversification outside of Tanzania...
With the income stream that WEN have and have had for sometime they will always be a more stable platform for development and far less volatile but I entered AEX for a bit of "sizzle". And to be fair I got that when the sp rose to 7p plus. It was only my greed that caused me not to cash in then. I think with the activity on the horizon at AEX we could easily see those prices again.... I do not see any prospect of WEN rising to the same degree with their planned programme of activity. The downside of WEN is a lot lower but, as their share price performance over recent years has illustrated they do not have the upside possibilities either.
I know that you would argue differently but there is nothing about WEN that I find the least bit "exciting".... Now I would agree that "excitement" may not be the best argument for an Investment but then I have plenty of "investments" that are more staid, value shares and growth stocks too BUT I would not invest in Tanzania for such investments..... Tanzania by it's very nature is a "gamble" and if you are to undertake that element of risk, for me, it has to come with a commensurate measure of potential reward. I do not see WEN as having that same potential reward.
