So Torreaguas what is your conclusion is it going to make it? It looks to be struggling so, if not, what next? Any views? Or might we yet have a hour of FOMO into the close?

I think that the words "Petroleum Act" are the key words here - this is NOT the Hydro Carbon Industry. This is Helium and Governed by the Ministry for Minerals. In the same way that a producer of Natural Gas is subject to oversight of PURA and TPDC, and need a GSA and PSA and Development Licenses to produce gas whereas - we are told, as a Helium producer He1 is not subject to these same conventions.

Moreover, if you are to believe the soundbites, cheap onshore gas is viewed as being the driver of growth for the domestic economy and cheap fuel for the population, whereas the offshore LNG is seen as an export; though you might think the urgent need for foreign currency and particularly $US might focus their minds a little.

The never ending problem in Tanzania is politics and as has been seen in the past the likelihood that, during an election particularly, opposition forces will use the perceived "courting" of overseas companies to develope (or exploit) Tanzanian mineral wealth as a rod to beat the incumbent government with; the idea that the Tanzanian populace are being fleeced and their assets exploited by overseas companies with the connivance of a corrupt government.... that was how and why Magafuli was lauded by so many. With his perceived championing of the interests of the populace over the foreign insurgents - whilst, of course, lining his own and his acolytes pockets with large brown envelopes.

I think I am right that Joe80 himself confirmed, only a few days ago, that it was unlikely that we would need the rig - unless it was to hang the wirelines (or similar) but he is right to say that NHE have estimated the cost of well testing at $3m per well. How significantly this differs dependent on scope, depth, complexity etc I would not know but as our well is deeper, passes through more Helium producing zones and is going into a fractured, compartmentalised basin I cannot se it being any less.

Agreed CaC, hence the MM's taking them to the cleaners and the risk of the sp dipping before the close.

Too early to say I think Torreaguas but now is a good time to test it with US opening. If not over then next hour or so then maybe before the close - the close is key I think. With this rise today there will be many gambling on the possibility of an RNS tomorrow @ 7:00 am; so there could be some FOMO before the close. So, in short a good chance of closing through 1.50p. Though on the other hand the MM's might be expecting a load of open "day trade" to close out before the end of play, so might take the opportunity to "cane" the closers by dropping the price.

In order for there to be a short position notified on this board there has to be a short position of more than 0.5%, I believe. There could be a lot below that level.

As a shareholder of He1 I certainly do NOT want to merge with NHE - if I had wanted to take on NHE asset risk I would invest in them directly. I firmly believe He1 assets are a lot better than NHE's and so would rather we plough our own furrow.
