Triple star the GWR should not be an "engineering hurdle" in the next well - it is most likely that the Karoo "issues"will not be a factor as the basement will be isolated within a natural fault system and therefore not subject to the same "seepage" issues.

Which would of course be fantastic if we were any closer than a minimum of12 months away from producing any.... I fear that by the time PLSR or shareholders are in a position to take advantage of the supply issues the status quo will be back to "normal". We can only hope that the power brokers in the industry see PLSR as a long term asset and decide to buy us out.

Stan, I am sure that today's Helium supply issues are having a bearing on most if not all Helium producers and even non-producers (HEX, PLSR etc) are up a few %age points today but none of them close to 20+% - so price and supply issues are not the whole story for He1 methinks?

I can get a price for up to 2 million on II but no more. Though will change in a matter seconds no doubt.

FWIW thetriplestar, yes, you have articulated very well, exactly what I was attempting to summarise earlier this morning. I also suspect that the reason that the BoD have stated below as below,

"This will require further drilling and testing, which will likely focus on primary fractured Basement targets at other locations across the 480 km2 Mining Licence area. A number of these targets have already been identified by the Company, and many of these are at shallower depths where the Basement is juxtaposed against faults."

is because the BoD have already concluded that they cannot isolate the Karoo influx from the basement effectively and hence have to move on from Itumbula; they have not spoken about the possibility pursuing other methods of doing so and hence wonder if they have given it up as a bad job.

I hope not but it looks most likely.

It would be very nice if shareholders were given the opportunity to ask this, and other, questions. We haven't seen an interview with the CEO for some extended period now.

Well poppy I do have a choice but I too ma hanging on. The author of the article states that he /she thinks that further dilution is "inevitable". That is a but over the top in my view. Inevitable? No, though a possibility. That said, if they can get a Farm-In partner to fund the next appraisal well there should be no reason to need further capital before then (assuming it is anytime over the summer) in which case by the time any further dilution becomes necessary, "commerciality" will have been established and the current sp will be significantly higher - imo of course. So even if there is a dilution to come, will those shares be any cheaper than they are today? So, keep powder dry to fund a future "raise" or buy now at fire sale prices? Or some of each perhaps? ;0)

It is true to say that none of the above (farm-out partner, timelines and commerciality) can be guaranteed but the risk reward ratio is more than enough to keep me involved.

MP just to say that I broadly agree with BB on their last point. Has the situation materially shifted? We still have not seen "commerciality" demonstrated and, it seems, that a new well needs to be drilled to solve the (potential) issue suffered at Itumbula with the Karoo fluids diluting the GWR from the Basement where attempts to segregate the two flows seemingly failed. Is Itumbula "commercial" with the GWR experienced? I don't know, is the answer but the BoD certainly haven't come out and said so. Did the results from Itumbula provide sufficient evidence and confidence for a Farm-Out partner to take the plunge on funding a new appraisal well (on good terms for He1?) where the GWR can be improved significantly and demonstrate, incontrovertibly, the commerciality of the prospect? Or did Itumbula actually do that (unbeknownst to us shareholders) and the next appraisal well is simply an attempt at optimising ratios, flow rates and He concentrations?

I certainly hope it is the latter but the outcome is surely still in the balance and remains to be seen?

So, kread, you have made your opinions known many times, that you hold no shares, you have told us that you don't want to buy, that the share is too risky for you, that there are better shares to invest in etc, etc. We have heard it, we understand but we don't don't give two hoots. Your observations may well be accurate, they may accord with your investment strategy and personal attitude to risk BUT others have different opinions, strategies and attitude to risk - many here are happy to take the risk for the possibility of significant rewards (as many here did with AEX years ago).

He won't be even close to contemplating that, indeed he needs to consider the Iranian population and their welfare / wellbeing; he needs them to be amenable to the US and Israel in a post Ali Khamenei administration. Moreover, if he is to get the other Arab states "onside" he will need to consider how much they can support an approach that ignores the interests of the populace.

Toffers I am not sure that Qatar striking Iran will make much difference - indeed having Qatar and other Arab countries join in against Iran might foreshorten the length oof the war and in that sense might be considered positive news, in that regard.

Pjmcgra, it is absolutely nothing to do with AIM! The trade was simply executed at that price it is this board (London South East) and others that choose to misinterpret trades pne way pr the other (in this case as a Sell), nothing to do with AIM or the LSE proper....

Incidentally dbno and pjmcgra, just out of interest, you seem confident that the market falls caused by the Middle East crisis have reached the bottom? If not why would you be buying now? And what gives you that confidence? If the crisis continues for another 4 - 5 weeks (or even longer) where do you think this market will be then? Market slump, inflation caused by rising Oil and shipping prices, supply shortages etc. It could get a lot worse yet.

It is certainly the fist time that Motley Fool has been even the remotely positive about He1 and even then only with major caveats. Having said that I am not sure that I am very happy about Motley Fool offering anything positive on He1 - historically they have been proven to be very reliable at getting everything totally wrong.

McNol, should we be expecting "whale" support at this new support "floor"? Or is this yet another one we can expect to disappear over coming days?

Sorry, I didn't explain that very well. In short which strategy will the Construction company deploy. Complete all the groundwork and then lay all the pipeline, or do a section of the groundwork and follow that up with a section of the pipeline before moving on the the next? I suspect that latter, not least as it will mean they can then defer some of the groundwork until after the rainy season and hence avoid unnecessary and avoidable delays.

Any thoughts?

At one of the previous AGM's, some of you may recall that certain of the board members anticipated the pipeline construction taking 3 - 4 months but subsequently changed that view to 6+ months. The explanation was that it was the groundworks that would be the biggest issue, would be most prone to delays from the rainy season and take the most time - largely due to the undulating nature of the countryside and the susceptibility of the ground to be eroded by floodwater. What I don't know is if the ground works will have been completed in sequence with the pipeline construction or, as seems most consistent with in the recent "timeline" for anticipated September completion, those groundworks are done in parallel. By which I mean firstly prepare 1 - 2km of ground works, lay the pipeline and then move on to do another 1 - 2km of ground works followed by another piece of pipeline, etc, etc.....?

Anyone got any insight into that?
