Just on comment chester re MHRA (and EMA). I do not think this would be a material consideration for a buyer as it would be considered a "given" and only a question of when and not if. Moreover if they wait for MHRA approval they may well end up paying more for SCLP as a consequence. If MHRA approval is a factor in timing, it is more likely to eb a factor for Scancell methinks as the BoD would then be confident of a better price.

Now, it goes without saying that there are innumerable alternative outcomes but how about the below? Oh, and the order of events very fluid.

1/ Modi results

2/ Sale of GT labs to Genmab for $30m

3/ Announce application for FDA approval for Modi Phase 3 trials

4/ Kick off iSCIB1+ trials with GT proceeds

5/ Modi FDA approvals

6/ Announce Nasdaq application

Outstanding question (s) - will we ever get to Nasdaq listing before a sale or partnership for Immunobody, ModiFY or the whole kit and kaboodle?

And, whilst we await news, "tumbleweed" on the trading front.....

I my view 80 - 90% of SCLP value lies with Immunobody and (particularly after potential FDA Phase 3 approval) ModiFY. As EE mentioned weeks ago GT Ltd is somewhat "non-core" and underdeveloped, (maybe something of a distraction?) sale value may not even be enough to cover Phase 3 1SCIB1+ trials, let alone potential Modi-1 trials too. Would anyone other than Genmab be interested in buying it? Would Genmab be happy with GT Ltd being owned by a US Pharma? The answer I think is "no" to both.

That simplifies the equation somewhat.

Incidentally, post release of the up and coming Modi results, what chance an FDA application for Phase 3 Modi trials....? That might give an indication of future strategy and a SCIB alternative with similar shareholder return.

I understand and share your sentiments TorquayFan but, personally, if we are to make any "divestments" rather than JV or partnerships and in the absence of a full sale, I hope that divestment is SCIB; it is the furthest developed of our products and hence the one that is most likely to give shareholders greatest value. The sale of Modi or, especially, Glymab would leave the lion's share of the "upside" with the acquirer.

But violindog, joining Nasdaq via a merger would not necessarily, in and of itself, raise any capital. It would also suffer the risk of the "tail wagging the dog". Which BoD would end up in control? Whose development would take precedence? Relative valuation? Complex, protracted and no doubt expensive negotiations and legals. Probably more straightforward simply looking at an IPO and would ensure immediate funding.

I cannot believe that there was any association between the recent rise and ASCO; indeed three was not even much by way of "hype". Nor do I believe that there was any "leak"; more likely attributable to the build up of exposure of Scancell, their products, progress etc and oncology more generally. Had Scancell issued any news, or updates in the last two weeks to support and continue that exposure I could well imagine that upward trajectory continuing. I am not surprised (in retrospect) that the sp peaked to coincide with Phil's audience at the Parliamentary Select Committee; his observations could (by some) have been interpreted as providing reason to consider that SCLP's short term progress was being impeded by the systemic strictures of the UK (and EU) approvals process, access to funding etc and as potential explanations of why we have not seen any of the long list of awaited milestones.

If, as has been suggested here by many, that the first on our long list of anticipated announcements is contingent, or dependent on, say, MHRA or EMA approval, or a Nasdaq listing, how long will we have to wait for the first of them? Are GT milestone payments contingent on EMA approval? Is the lack of MHRA approval holding up funding of Phase 3 iSCIB1+ trials?

Personally I doubt that these issues are so intrinsically connected. Modi results are surely only awaiting optimal maturity before being released, nothing more? Genmab milestone payments, purely in negotiation? If iSCIB1+ funding is likely to come from the US, are the Pharma's too worried about MHRA and EMA approvals? I doubt it and Phil suggested that the key to unlocking funding is FDA approval and that MHRA is no longer the gold standard.....

So I think we just need to sit on our hands and await the revelations as they arise - as I am sure they will - and even if we do have to wait for MHRA , EMA approvals or a funding even (if need be) via a Nasdaq listing, surely that is now just a question of when and not if....

The 21.95p trades are evidently Buys and I believe both the 21.50p and the 21.75p trades are Buys (one of them certainly is) - the 21.10p a Sell.

Let's hope that EE is correct and we get some clarity on the Phase 3 iSCIB1+ funding this week. The market looks to be somewhat cautious which doesn't help our cause but the continued lack news isn't helping either. That said, is it of any consequence? If (Big if) we pull of a sale or partial sale the state of the market should have little bearing on our sp. It would though weigh on any cap raise, UK or US.

And even more so when Tanzania is involved.

Shining the spotlight on Scancell - one of the finalists of the Innovation Award sponsored by The Oxford Science Park (TOSP)!

Some good steady buying interest this morning and some (relatively) good volumes without any selling pressure - maybe yesterdays RNS did weed out the weak handed?

It would be great if we could break through the 0.60p mark, which looks a strong possibility today.

Continued steady progress this morning. Price now at its highest point since since April 2018.

Cars, I am not sure that "the market" has any intrinsic interest in "the science" whether they understand it or not. Their only inetrest is if, when and how that science can be monetised. Those questions are never likely to be answered until such time as the science has been sufficiently progressed and the COS dramatically improved. I think we are now at that point and the questions above about to be answered. (at least for iSCIB1+).

Despite this , another tick down this morning. Will it have to go back to 20.0p before we get another "bounce"? Let's hope the answers arrive quickly.

Hopefully today's news and rise, tempted all of the short termers and those without conviction were tempted to take advantage of the rise and any new buying activity will bring about a steady climb. Though today's volumes rather unexceptional.

I hope I am wrong but, after such a lengthy wait for news I would not be surprised to see any price rise sold into. Short sighted and perhaps risky but understandable.
