Well vike we have all been eagerly awaiting news on the rig - though that doesn't sound very positive. As you say, hopefully we will get first use of it but that comes at increased cost, a cost which, at the AGM, it was suggested that they would be reluctant to pay. Though a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then so maybe their attitude may have changed for the better in the interim.

After that recent broker note regarding "production" in 2026 and now this news, it surely is incumbent on the BoD to give us an operational update? Until they do I am back to a "hold".

To a certain extent broomtree we have already broken that cycle - previously the sp was yo-yoing in a range from 0.85 - 1.00p. We have at least now, seemingly, found a new level above 1.0p. And I anticipate every new (assuming continued drilling success) RNS will add to an incremental increase in that floor.

McNol, in conversation at the AGM it was suggested that there is a lot of US interest in large scale investment in extractive industries in Africa - particularly South Africa - and that the BoD would be using their US Galactica exposure to explore developing relationships with those same South African and African investors. So I agree, I am expecting US support for Rukwa - though totally separately from Galactica - they want to ring fence the two projects from a financing perspective.

I have to agree in the main with your conclusions Ssccss; all bar one that is..... SYN being a buyout target. Not likely I am afraid, not without proof of assets in Cambay and if SYN goes tits up before those assets are proven up Selan will take over SYN's 50% and there will be nothing left to own; except a load of accumulated tax losses maybe? If SYN can hang it out long enough for those assets to be proven up, they will get away with another cap raise to keep the wolf from the door and extend Roland's lifestyle business and vanity project... Just enough to keep long suffering shareholders like us holding on for some sort of relief.

I have reached the conclusion that I do not have the patience for that sort of never ending saga - like some others here I have had too many similar experiences to want to go through that yet again. I will be cutting and running - if there is anything left to run from.

I suspect that as an ASX listed "mining" company they have to issue any and all relevant exploration information to market; I doubt they would choose to incur all that additional expense if they could avoid it. Particularly when you have so many social media channels that you could use to broadcast it.

Well if we were only to get one of those many options tonight my choice would be the J31 well test results - the intermediate stage drill / casing is of minimal consequence other than derisking and would be happy to wait for the TD in all honesty. Linkedin or X notification would be good enough.

And gogs unless I am very much mistaken after spending all that time and effort compiling your extensive list you seemingly have left out probably the single most important item; a CPR.... and that only then after more appraisal activity.

They have loads to do; there is an awful lot of preparation required to keep running back to the market cap in hand every 6 months for further shareholder funding!! Someone's got to do it! That and trying to find a new Farm-In partner for no-hope vanity project once a year.....
