He's a plonker on the Cine board as well.
Pretty much all his posts get ignored.
Obviously just a troll.
But great to see some light at the end of this turbulent period.
Can't wait for spring and hopefully we'll see the end of Covid as a threat to business for good.
The opening day 8.30 IMAX showing here in Sheffield is practically sold out. Have a look if you can.
Just the front row and a few seats in the wings remaining.
Should easy get that billion.
Wouldn't it be a daft move for a Canada based firm to short on leaked info?
It just looks so obvious.
I'm sure Cine's team are looking at this intently right this minute.
If they really did have that info, surely they have the links to short the stock through another avenue rather than stick a big red flag over their heads and wave it in everyone's faces.
Which makes me think it's more of a punt on the new Covid strain, especially with Cine being in focus over there of late rather than anything else.
Great find that Sammy and should be compulsorily reading for all genuine investors.
Is it possible to 'pin' posts on this board (?) because after reading that, we seriously do have some bots posting on here.
All my own opinion, obviously but the this has all the signs of what will turn out to be a massive overreaction.
The statement from the chair of SA's Medical Assoc. that it only causes mild disease ties in with what FunInvestor was saying yesterday about viruses needing to be more transmissible yet less deadly in order to survive.
Just like the now prevalent Delta variant, cases will be high yet yesterday the number of people admitted to hospital was just about on par with what we saw in August.
Understandably, the government has to be seen to be doing something otherwise public opinion amongst mainstream media consumers will plummet.
However, if they were genuinely worried about a new killer strain that we have no defence to, they'll have gone a lot harder. My belief is that they know this will be the new dominant strain but will not be any more deadly or put extra burden on hospitals. They'll have had that data from SA already.
What they don't know yet is how effective the vaccines are against it. That we have to wait for.
But that won't stop the paid derampers and outright nasty c-unts from swarming this board tomorrow with their vitriol.
There's loads of us that have been through thick and thin with this and are still here. For any newbies who believe in Cine, then stick to your principles and either give this site a miss for a few weeks or just plain ignore the trolls.
As I've said before, look to this time next year:
Covid (should) be over
Court case settled
Avatar 2 about to be released and be the highest grossing movie in history.
That's all I've got for today.
Love and kisses, Crumpets. Xxx
Covid will be over
The court case will have been settled
Avatar 2 will be set to become the highest grossing movie in history.
What we're seeing here is the final milking of the last few drops of hysteria from the Covid teat.
Plenty of us have been here for years now and seen this all before along with much more intelligent and more insidious derampers than the jesters that have been air dropped in lately.
They'll disappear as quickly as they came with hardly a comment on any other board.
Hold for gold.
Judge Judy would have this wrapped up inside 30 minutes.
I still check in from time to time, Robin!
But it's pretty much settled for me now. Was a bit spooked by the court case but happy it won't affect us much having seen the cases put forward.
And as such, it's just a period of waiting it out now.
Confident the business will be profitable and reduce debt over time. Probably years.
But I have time.
I have patience.
But toherwise, this place is Groundhog Day with the paid derampers spawning like something out of a video game trying to get newbies to sell along with all the handbags from the usuals trying to score internet points.
But it all comes from a position of wanting Cine to do well so it's all valid and I love em all!
See you at the £1.50 party next year!!
Good evening, Robin!
Great to see you back and well. :)
Xxx
As a man of culture (and Hot Dogs), I'm somewhat disappointed that Petite Maman is only showing in a handful of our cinemas.
For those of you near Cineworlds that are showing it, I encourage you to do so; to not only enjoy Celine Sciamma's directorial elegance but to show that there is an audience outside of the blockbusters as well that will encourage other studios to release their product onto our screens and indeed, attract a wider audience to our cash registers.
I love you all.
Bonsoir, mes amis.
To be cash positive even when things are still not 100% back to normal is exceptional and shows how well the management have handled everything.
It also demonstrates that as the situation snowballs back to normality across the pond, Cine will be in a very healthy place indeed and will be more than able to manage the debt down.
Squeaky bum time for some of our newer shorters.
SMQ: Why would he want to invest at 55 or below when he's certain that the outlook is terrible?
Do all the headwinds he's been stating suddenly disappear at 55?
If he's convinced things are so bad, he shouldn't even be looking at Cine to invest at any price. At any time.
Or..... could it just be that he's actually talking ****e and is just another sad little paid up troll?
Most probably waiting for the verdict, Bonx.
Tie that in with a positive trading update and Mooky will have casually thrown a metaphorical grenade into the shorter's hands.
It's how he's done things in the past.
Instead of talking the talk and jabbing away in the fight, he prefers to wait for the right moment then deliver the knock out blow.
Patience.
HL say they don't lend out stock on their info page.
Reddit backs it up.
HL is a safe house.
Even the BBC admitting through gritted teeth that Covid has stabilised.
This has all been basically a free hit for Cineplex.
It'll all end up for naught for them.
But worth a punt.
New Judge Judy.
Love it.
Looks like Smalltrader's post rattled someone at one of the shorters to panic deploy one of the boiler room crew.
So transparent It's pitiable.
All the films you mention will make $$$$$.
Avatar 2 out Xmas 2022. Completely unoriginal.
But will make the kind of money that the streamers could only dream of.
It'll be just our luck that the day Cine rockets to £1.20+ coincides with Sunak's start date for an increase in CGT that he's likely to announce this lunchtime.
