I dunno most disappointing to me is where has modi1 gone? apart from obviously not into trial.....Come on team Scancell time to realise some of that potential we know you possess in spades.

It is a shame that most selling now will probably be doing so at a loss or at most small gain... considering we have had such a sustained time in the 20s but again this fall has most to do with lack of pi interest in Covid plays (pandemic classed as over) lack of newsflow here and missed timelines lack of trial recruitment and WW3 fear and consequences... but strong fundamentals remain so... it is one of those where each individual chooses their risk appetite and strategy

No because Scancell have never indicated they are after CEPI funding... at most I believe they have said CEPI would require the coming data which is strange I know considering CEPI fund at all stages not just clinical but thats it we have no idea if scancell have pursued that route unlike GC which was a contest we entered we do know they are seeking a partner for Covidity though so we just have to wait it out or not everyone personal choice :)

Never thought of that angle drac.... the paid trial volunteers bought shares with their recompense and have since sold sinking the sp....or maybe sp has fallen on no news at all because there has been no news at all :)

Morning C7, quite agree to cancer trials are completely different but for Covidity especially given its safety and understanding around it more than covering costs is ethical and indeed without it probably the already sloth recruitment process would be even worse.... interesting times we live in and what the markets will be I don't know ...Scancells work of value to all humanity

I'm not sure of those giddy heights as a great deal of confidence fell from this company however I'd say it is a definite buy now ...this just in:

I suppose that in animals the likelihood is the virus evolves to become more infectious to those species... a worry but I think the major worry is still when the virus gets prolonged time inside immune compromised people that is when the scary variants evolve ...the pandemic does seem to be going in the right direction of the evolving dominant variants being less deadly but it looks here to stay and people especially the vulnerable will need protection ie vaccines ...So although the AIM market predictably sees not much value in covid plays anymore that is not the real world case and the push for better and more vaccines continues with the funding and huge values attached....

Good read that Berm as for what the future of Covid vaccines may be well I think we can say there will be one and hopefully it will be a case of the best ones winning through .... I wish a pharma would decide Lindy gets it right again and at last sealed a deal

No I won't be buying today I like to think 13pish show some it is where Redmile bought a load support and also many longtermers averages are here etc... but truth is it could fall more and I'd nibble then...I never thought I'd have over 300k of these and to be honest wish I'd played the last year very different yes I had a few trade wins... the SKY effect rise the wiggles but hey hindsight and all that... What I do know is Scancells pipeline has the potential to fill a pharma and the figures you can attach to that put this current misery into perspective.... no not a quid or 8 quid tomorrow but if scancell have gotten the science right and get this strategy right and get a move on!.... Today I stared into the faces of the Hells Angles and bought more shares :) yes my average has just been breached no I'm not joyous about it.... but have always been in this for the size of the prize not just the trades a few of which I've done ok on with our super near 100% rise on back of Vulpes Redmile Sky TV covid shares popularity and diggle wiggles... yes the current fall back to earth is not fun... hence as I have said many times... about time a proper pharma partnership deal/s were sealed to take this to Unicorn status and to hopefully grow sustainably rather than be caught in the windy whims of AIM sentiments...the prize remains massive but Scancell have once again failed with keeping timelines.... modi 1 trail where are you!!?..... anyways Hells Angles on the bridge are not that scary to me roll on the next RNS's

I would not see the use of ImmunoBody in Notts Unis research as offering anything up beyond they would get to use it for their research same as in the other research projects I mentioned yesterday involving Giblomastoma and Prostrate cancer targets funded and led by others .... The pay off though would be peptide delivery .... Anyways as things stand we don't know what we do know is both that Gov xall and CEPI's past and recent ones ImmunoBody ticks all boxes and is most advantageous to all... It is at an advancing stage with soon to be revealed clinical data to back up the already gathered SCIB1 data...plus AvidiMab the real dark horse in the data mix with massive potential of its own .... We'll get something out of this (data being positive) exactly what at this stage speculation I do agree though it seems Lindy is not keen on giving up IP which though everything has its price etc I think she would look hard at a non IP dilutive funded route but I think pharma partnerships are going to be evryones fave way...... vulpes/redmile must get their say too and I'm sure that would be their prefferance.... Hopefully, it is being all put together right now and the RG move is indicative of it....

This latest funding for Notts Uni comes from the GOVs Health in Developing Countries program at the end of the funding page is this :

COVAX we know is CEPIS response to COVID 19 ..... It is all interconnected shows that funds are there to got at.... This may not be scancells path for Covidity and we have discussed this here me personally you go pharma partner if you can and then involve CEPI/COVAX after but if no pharma then it certainly needs to be a route Scancell go for... Notts have tapped into GOV funds maybe they will also go for CEPI too.... The main thing is ImmunoBody ticks ALL the boxes that both GOV and CEPI require ticking...

The aim of the Call is to minimise the need for complex cold-chain requirements in order to improve global access to vaccines and, in turn, reduce potential vaccine wastage.

CEPI is particularly interested in hearing from vaccine developers and tech companies with new or existing innovations that could support the development of one or more infectious disease vaccines that are both heat-stable and freeze-stable. Example innovations that CEPI may look to fund include temperature-stable vaccine nasal sprays, microarray patches, or orally administered vaccines.

Technologies must be applicable to current or future vaccines and accessible to low- and middle-income countries, and the innovation should not affect other key vaccine criteria such as costs, capacity, and ease of use.

Up to $17.5 million will be made available to support the innovations, with the aim to fund 3 to 5 projects in 2022. This work is part of CEPI’s goal, as part of its $3.5bn pandemic preparedness plan, launched in March 2021, to harness innovative technologies to improve the speed, scale and access of vaccine development and manufacturing in response to epidemics and pandemics. The Call may be extended to include other innovation areas that contribute to this goal.'
