Wasn't an accusation that Mkango wanted to change Malawian law?.. It does seem to me the mining ministry is at odds with the Attorney General who seems to only have the power to grant mining licenses and is standing in the way as it were if that power is handed over to the mining ministry then I reckon the MDA will be done ASAP

I have no doubt if Scancell had been a US company it would be in a different sphere now with lots of GOV support

With Moditope we have been told from its very earliest days that there is a lot of 'interest' in it from that I think we presume industry interest and that does make sense we also know the industry views it as 'very novel' we got a sense of that from the CRUK comp Project Blue entry ....

My thinking is NDAs will have been in place and more added over the years with regards to Moditope and probably a lot of them that I'd be surprised if they did not include all the major players in the onco and especially immuno onco field....I remember during one AGM presentation many years ago Lindy mentioned a 'vaccine manager' who basically told her moditope could not be a commercial product unless it was made into smaller doses .... hence she sought out ISAs Amplivant ... the whole Scancell sciences out problems in action once again.... We never got to know who that 'vaccine manager' worked for but ... y'know...
So I reckon over the years there has been dialogues with many potential partners probably not involving much more than emails of this where we are at now and replies of that's nice do keep us informed of further progress :)
I'd like to think that stage is over and it is more direct phone calls now and of course on the data being compelling enough for actual meaningful meetings...
Others disagree with me here but my feeling is on showing enough compelling success deals are likely to be done on Targets ... so, for instance, it might not be a 'modi 1' deal but a can you produce for us candidates from your moditope platform for this Cancer target X. that we are particularly interested in... and scancell come back with maybe 2 or more vaccine candidates that could be put into small but significant trials by a partner who then decide which is showing the most commercial promise...

In many offices there are more failed mail walks than not failed oh and that is creeping into the parcels now too... you know the profit part... yup no it's cuz of Covid excuses it's cuz of strikes, there have been none for months, and it is not staff standing in way of changes they bring them in daily and they fail daily, it's basically very very poor management, and that comes down from the top ...

Yeah, those articles are basically adverts for the mRNA route and in particular the so far leaders in it -Moderna and BioNTech... We know the mRNA route is all the current rage with money thrown at it and official doors flung wide open to it, though it is not necessarily the best and certainly not the only route to cancer vaccine success... That the cancer vaccine space is suddenly v exciting again though can only be a good thing here... We have platforms capable of producing products ready to rapidly go to the commercial stage as soon as a pharma / big bio is willing to partner with those big bucks they have
