Is unlike ImmunoBody moditope has a very short shelf life... this should give us a clue as to if the trial is going to be funded or not as no way would they be making batches of it for at 60 clinical patients in at least 3 cancer targets (though that may expand) if they were totally unsure of coming funds.... but till the RNS we have no idea on how or where that finding is coming... we can speculate though

I'm sure on AGM recording Sally says they had to run some more tests (I presumed using the new device) which they had done and sent that data off to the FDA...the rest would have been down to Ichor who have informed scancell they have done and provided the FDA with all the info asked for so... all down to waiting for FDA I guess and they can take as long as forever sadly ...but I'm sure it will get the green light in the end surely we are aproaching 8 months now scancell defo did the right thing by initiating the UK arm though....see they do learn!

I'd think Merck will be happy to see as many combo trials using their keytruda as possible...obviously, they are going to be more keen on some than others and of course, some are based on deals they have done with others... though interestingly that does not always mean those ones have the best results :) enjoy your evening

To add to that ... this is what was written at time of the inovio hold... we have not been given any insight to the issue/s that FDA may have with the Ichor or SCIB1 etc...

My personal take... FDA bureaucracy...Inovio went through a similar thing with their new device and the FDA put a hold on the trial that was to use it... took 8 months to get it sorted then the trial got started...

As I've said before I can't recommend this share at this moment to just anyone (family friends none clued up etc) not at this stage when funds are needed for full progress however as soon as the first outside valuation/validation arrives I'd say get in on this as within a couple of years it could be absolutely massive ...of course for us who are willing to take on the current risk/reward it is not a bad time to be in and buying as we are closer today to our first deal/s than we were yesterday :) ... I wonder if scancell are going to ASCO19 seeing as it is around the same time as the Philly bio conference and BioNtech are going to both... could be some very important meetings going on with all project blueprint partners under one roof...and Ichor of course.

Cars agree with all that... would just add BioNtech TCR deal is not the only deal possibility...modi1 now has to be very tempting to the multiple potential partners who have been in talks with scancell about moditope for a long time too and now glycan MaBs plus ImmunoBody ... Certainly, scancell has plenty to offer any potential partners they may be meeting in Philly in 3 weeks time...

And we could soon be about to do a none IP dilutive licensing deal with BioNtech for TCR therapeutics developed using the science around modi1... a deal I would expect to get us to maybe at least 50p fast as I'd expect at least $10 million upfront.... modi1 is also now a very attractive deal prospect for multiple pharma and big bios with IO interests ...I would expect a deal on that to bring in up to $100 million upfront... as I say for some the risk is too much so best they stay on the sidelines until such valuation/validation....

The modi1 trial is not going to last years as if it works it will show that fast after therapeutic dosing is reached and could end up expanding from the first 3 chosen targets to include patients with any tumour expressing modified peptides

I'm not sure what your question was?.... I thought you asked how can an mcap go from £15 million to £billions in months and I answered-moditope! ....IMHO because if moditope proves itself as it may in the modi1 trial in multiple cancers in a majority of patients who are basically terminal patients whos (if it goes as well as it could) tumours melt away never to return in a matter of days after a therapeutic dose and with no side effects and a cheaper to produce and easier to administer treatment than those currently earning $billions for the likes of Merck... then that is how scancell become worth £billions...and I'm not making it up just go work out how Kite and Juno got their valuations.... oh no sorry that requires - a bit of research into what it is you have put your money into...

Drac I think you are best waiting on the sidelines and coming in (if you want to of course) once there is a valuation/validation from a commercial deal ... if none come you lose nothing if they do you will probably miss out on some great gains but still be buying into a possibly once in a lifetime story even if you don't understand it.

It's called moditope if you can't be bothered researching that I'm not sure what your doing here but checkpoint inhibitors are worth $billions ...Keeping your Merck's and BMSs afloat no one company owning the underlining techs patent.... moditope coul totallyd eclipse them on one trail underlying tech totally owned and parented by scancell.

There must be a fair few pi with substantial holdings here now many being LTHs who know the potential...We did become once again a bit of a trading share end of last week and well done anyone making a few quids but the truly big rewards are yet to come but with the amount of blocks now in place it's looking good that we may begin to see those rewards this year especially if the deals now arrive and if clinical data comes in positive by end of next year scancell could be a share gone from an mcap of 15 million quid to billions in a matter of months that is how much potential the modi1 trial has

From under the current IO status quo.... the modi1 trial... you do not get many chances on goal in this game so when you do you better go for it with your best shot and scancell seem to be really going for it with modi1... with this CAB and who knows possibly charities will get involved too,we have seen that with ImmunoBody already, scancell are determined to get modi1 where it needs to be... in patients with no more options and in multiple solid tumour cancer targets.... modi1 if it works - works fast there will be no waiting years for final readouts there is every chance that by the end of next year we will know if team scancell have gone and pulled off the best result in all of IO's still short but exciting and hugely valuable$$$ history and with the connections our clinicians have you could expect it to be a commercially fast tracked product too... I'm backing Lindy and co :)

Yes well if they are going to be the number one IO company in the world and ambition and growth wise there is no denying they are pushing for that....but I do not think they will acheieve it with only their mRNA platform... I still laugh when I listen to Lindy at calculus... she calls it an 'older' technology :))) even though it's not that old at all and still very much a clinical stage treatment...
