Is scancell were telling John 2 years ago the planned funding from the US was 2-3 years away they have indeed 'somehow' and possibly not via the ways they were expecting at that time nailed that US funding.... What did it? possibly vulpes and them sharing their in-depth pre investing due diligence with redmile ? BioNTech? possibly the only company who may have an actual real see it to believe it understanding of the potential of moditope via their TCR research collab and the friendship of Sahin and Lindy...Or both those elements or non at all maybe Cliff managed to engage them at one of the US investor events but certainly scancell hit the redmile radar at some point and we are seeing the results of that now...

I thought it might have been soon scancell may have as many shares in issue as Burnley has fans

Can we grudgingly say that somehow that Chippers and Cliff pulled it off in the end?

The US is a 2-3 year plan which is underway. They need to be known to US funders and they then need some more milestones and to have a larger cap. At the end of the day, data and progress on the drug candidates will determine things.'

Yeah I think what I'm getting at with Covidity is it could get huge exposure at any time just because there is huge focus around covid vaccines and this one is different and in a potentially very good way... An RNS saying, for instance, Roche partners Notts Covidity program and we all know we get some crazy market reaction times and such an RNS is possible just again because covid... Also, the rapid work going on on it towards a ph1 means we can expect newsflow in the coming months .... The shift in the bigger sphere of things looking beyond antibodies towards T cells can already be seen we have witnessed that already...

I don't bother with the TD values they become irrelevant as soon as some partner shows big money interest on any part of the multiple parts of the pipeline and or we get some 'game-changer' data - especially on modi 1....
At least now scancell does have a chance (2 years one) of getting to a quid and/or more and hopefully with no more dilution needed.... All going well I think we can all agree a £1 billion mcap is achievable I'm sure redmile/vulpes are after such an ends.

Covidity is certainly the wild card as regards sp just because Covid I do think we could see an sp of 50p around it now it could be Hype and very spikey if it is happening without solid it works and is going commercial data but again it is something that attracts the traders here and huge volumes .... We will see...

Do we know of remiles influence on BOD's I mean we saw it with Vulpes here already ...does redmile have form there? have they got their people on the BOD at redx?...

At least for any interested partnering pharmas they can now partner with a company that has serious financial backers, I'm sure that does influence getting those kinds of deals.

We are only going to know 'what if's' after the event, once this pandemic is over and the full world picture can be looked at and studied...probably for years to come. What is internationally accepted is what best can bring it under control is an effective vaccine program.

Chester, I tend to agree in as much as yes redmile may have always intended to invest more, boom has explained a lot about redmile and the way they do things and usually they invest BIG .... but their first investment was enough to hit some of the impressive milestones we need... so why so soon... so to me not so much they never intended or were willing to invest more but so soon and the only milestone we know of reached is covidity funding.... yes I think there is a very good chance more funding will come for covidity especially if the first gen vaccines are well.... very first gen.

So long as someone is there that can pull it all together..... oh for a Sean Marett (BioNTech) that is a guy who can do deals... maybe this is all plot by him for BioNTech to somehow get moditope on the cheap :))) proper conspiracy theory territory there... Anyways at least now CH and Chippers have to answer to more than us

When Vulpes arrived we got quite a bit of info all about how they came to be here and about the full in-depth due diligence they did plus of course Martin joining the board and him almost certainly bringing Ursula in too.... How redmile came to be here we are yet to find out the one thing we know for sure is the BioNTech connection...

Well what we did get was covidity funding not too long after redmiles first cash injection and maybe that triggered redmile into going in more... unless they tell us we don't know but it is all intriguing and there could well be big pharma sniffing out covidity too...

Although hopefully, we hear more about that at AGM so we have a clear picture of situ of once again not sealing a deal especially when we were led to expect that will be the outcome.... Of course, if indeed it is the case, It is not a bad position to be in to be able to turn down a poor deal..... especially if you know the true value of your assets and can prove that up... I think Lindy has a clear idea there :)

We don't know though it seems ADC may well be a part of it.... I think we can pretty much assume whatever was being offered for the one MaB scancell were not happy to agree to it... I wonder how extensive the 'research' carried out by the potential really was .... Anyways scancell must have confidence that by doing some work of their own on them they can prove up and increase the value of those assets
