We know Seattle Genetics are aware and indeed may have played some part in the R&D of scancells MaBs
'The aim of my PhD project was to generate novel anti-glycan monoclonal antibodies against tumours. During my PhD I had generated three mAbs, of which two of them had been granted a patent. We collaborated with university research groups and companies such as Seattle Genetics, OMT and Invivogen to look for the potential clinical usage of our mAbs. For e.g., ADC and generation of human antibody. These three mAbs are potent direct cancer cell killers. In addition to ADCC and CDC, the antibodies also cause direct cytotoxicity to cancer cells. '
