Awonda interesting point this is all I can find ... apart from I doubt there would be much issue in scancell using continuum IP either by license or what not... and of course scancells IP would remain scancells

I think Sputnik is very like the Oxford jab.... hackers lol....
But not much data on it and any vaxs associated with such nations are shrouded in political power play...
It does seem adreno vaxs are more likely to cause blood clotting... the numbers though compared to lives saved are really really tiny.... Sadly what will happen though is more and more will say oh no we want a different vax.... where there is a choice... mRNA ones are doing great but as we said yesterday they are still very experimental and there could be future issues on continued dosing.... even a possibility of the immune system eventually turning against the vax itself!....

Anyways... still a place for a Covidity to get into the mix and for the this BB to get awash with anit vaxxers :)) but with sp at over a quid we won't mind....

mRNA vaxs are about 10x as expensive as DNA ones as well as added storage costs due to stability issues .... just a thought.

I have Candadian relavties and the situation there is bad... With Trudeau trying to deflect by saying yes the UK is ahead in vaccination but gosh what a terrible third wave we are facing the cheeky effer!
Then there is the world turning against adenoviral vaccines well of course only western ones Chinnese/Rus ones are still great

Yeah... the thing is where do all these mRNA delivery lipids go? might not be an issue on one or a couple of shots but on constant boosters?.... a build-up of nano lipids in organs ? not sure not much on it out there but I do remember reading one article that had a concern about that ... a big ongoing experiment

Also worth pointing out scancell know why there are no approved DNA vaccines and what went wrong with the ones that tried ... but failed and scancell make theirs very differently and now a whole new ahead of the game again delivery plud Avidimab... it would be huge if they pull it off.... as far as we all know the trial is still coming H1

You are partly right there....the market and to some extent pharma are only into what is hot....
Worth remembering there are no approved DNA vaccines and not long ago there were no mRNA ones either... that mRNA has proven itself so well is no bad thing here though of course, it will mean anything with mRNA attached will get interest...took 50 years most spent with no one interested in it at all!

Could scancell get the first ever DNA vaccine over the approval line? possible but not if we don't get into that trial already!
Also the depth of pipeline means we have some in fashion though novel products with the MaBs/AvidiMab so action on them in a commercial way always a possible...
