Sanofi still does not have one of their own over the line though seem determined to get there with their GSK partnered one if Covidity goes all the way it too would need such manufacturing support... and I'm sure Sally has already been working on that potential....again it means the Notts team are going to need big support to get over the line but let's hear that stating pistol and seeing us out the blocks first:)

CEPI certainly threw a lot a huge amount at Novovax ... If we do get funding from being successful in applying for the current call we will not be getting anywhere near as much as the total to fund all chosen candidates is $200 million still scancell do not at this stage need to be worrying about manufacturing x billion doses that would be further down the line and they would not be getting into the manufacturing themselves for that you need other partners ... I notice Sanofi have taken on manufacturing Modernas vax it must really hurt for them to have missed out on getting a first-gen vax over the line though I read they still plan on pushing their candidate in collab with GSK all the way I don't think new first gens need much support now as the winners are in I noticed US Gov has stopped supporting out old pals Inovios candidate to the finish line now because well it just wont make it to commercial... second gen ones though that is very different they are there to be backed :)... the sprint has been won but not the marathon.

Yes, and UK has if I remember rightly already given at least CEPI £250 million.... now you might think there would be a nudge towards investing a little of that in British talent? it seemed to work over the pond with Novavax and Trump .... There is a reason why the redmile funding is termed transformational and that is because it is it means 3 trials and further development on the whole pipeline .... ADC CAR T TCR Glycan MaBs AVidiMab modi2 modi3 SCIBs going into viral targets .... combinations of pipeline techs... the IP has already been built over many years where we are now at the outcome stage ... yeah that will still probably mean 2 years to fully unfold but to think a lot of excitement cannot come along the way and that the final potential value would not be in the $billions is naive and blind to the market scancell is a part of yes all risk/reward ATM... We already know how the market values an Immunocore for instance ... and I'm not knocking them but I doubt they will ever have much commercial success... probably good Oxford neighbours to lend sugar from though oh and any of their top science talents :)

I should add that Avidimab interest came after the 3 MaB research collabs.....

Anyone want to talk about the size of the MaB market and AvidiMab potential value there ( can possibly enhance potency and maybe also add to patent life to any Human MaB).... ha lets not huh :)

I agree with all that Ray apart from the last part yes the very close to being concluded MaB deal was deferred but there is still the possibility of something there considering Cliffs words in the Vox presentation and this....

The NASDAQ angle is more an eventual bringing scancell to the US scenario.... None of us know how it will all unfold, the only thing that seems to be clearer is that scancell are no longer a prove it up and then sell the asset' company that they once were (not that that worked out) which means it will be growth ... 3 trials offer a lot of potential growth in a relatively short time especially if you consider that tech from every platform of the pipeline will be in trial in multiple targets and settings and if you think a successful modi 1 trial that is in effect 4 trials in one would not cause a massive uprate then you do not understand the immunotherapy market especially if you consider every platform of the pipeline will be in trial ..... And what a successful Covidity could bring is a whole new world of possibility ... I think it is worthwhile to look at the valuations of the completion to get an idea of values and I'm sorry the values are beyond some researched temporary holders heads :)

I'm buying into the IP myself ... I think it has never been valued and I think its value has massive potential..... we probably look at it in different ways :)
