mymy, it was the Shard where I was asked by the boss to do a talk from a Sound Energy investors perspective.It was the first big event where the truly huge prospective scale of East Morocco was first revealed & all who attended were rendered almost speechless after the early promise of a potential super gas giant was excitedly talked of by James & then CFO Mary Hood...TCFs seemed to be multiplying in front of our very eyes & huge far away outpost wells were mentioned for the very first time. That was a big honour & one I will never forget...I have the film of the event but cannot publish...however, I could put my speech up somewhere! Bluboyz, cheers, even though I have all but retired from active posting these days...partly due to increased work commitments at the 'Gulag'!

Tableleg, yes I was quite amazed - I shouldn't reply but he implied I report poster which is utter tosh! Only a handfu in 8 years! MK, can I add my thanks for your email replies from James - it's always good to read them as it adds dimentian. I've more or less retired from seriously posting as I have done my stint here over the years but always a pleasure to read the current crop of Sound enthusiasts such as yourself and many others here.

These days at work I am having to use my Apple 4 phone & the version of LSE I use doesn't have a facility to mark posts up - only to report them. Is there another mobile version you guys use with a mark-up facility?

250, you really are tiresome! Yes I'm an optimistic guy & yes I have lost on a couple of shares over the years - but my gains far outweigh those few losses. MTA & NEW were punts that went wrong but BPC, RRL are both shares I sold at the top, as well of course as Sound, which I sold a chunk at 89 to pay my mortgage. There are others of course but they're history now. I'm off on a 4 month world cruise in January, hoping to retire this September at age 56 & live in a beautiful house on the South Downs National Park - & you think Im a novice. Well all I can say is - 'not bad going for a novice'! So novice investors of the world unite - you could do as badly as I have!!

Moroccoknows, that was a bit harsh regarding your post to my very good freind Appiamma. He still rightly hasn't forgotten Nervesa "plug and Play" let alone Sidi "plug and play"! He's still very optimistic but no apologies for being underwhelmed - he's a believe it when you see it sort of guy - which is a healthy attitude when investing in AIM! Me, I'm always hoplesley optimistic and have previously lost a few quid because of it elsewhere on AIM... but you do learn quickly hopefully! Cheers...Crude

jack, but surely you would feel more secure if you had that CPR of the wider area? We all (or most) want them to drill - but some (most?) would like a 'sign'...in Monty Python parlance... give me a sandal or something to sniff & worship...something I can follow Brian with...but it will come, soon enough Brian's sandal will stink of whiffy gas & that will be the 'sign'.........to avoid all contact with him...lol! Just escaped the 'Gulag', caught up on today's posts & had a good laugh. Nothing & no one phases me. We've got the team, we've got the money...let's drill baby! On an O/T note I spent a very pleasant evening with Lady Colin Campbell (Lady C of I'm a Celebrity fame & of course that Princess Diana book). She was putting on a play at the Castle opposite me & I sat next to her in the front row...we did have a laugh & her play was excellent...all about her & Diana (wow I never knew Diana swore that much but when I enquired Lady C said she had toned down the swearing....you wouldn't have known it lol!) very pleasant evening - very pleasant lady & she is now my very close neighbour...what fun! Crude

Mark, I & plenty here empathise. No one likes to see their investment dwindle for no seeming reason. We all want our shares to go up...but this is O&G & as far as I can tell nothing has changed for the worse...on the contrary, things are looking good. We are in the early stages of field development in conjunction with a plan to sell the company......how complicated is that! If you still believe in the original concept & research of why you invested then give it more time to mature. I haven't yet seen any suspicious signs as to why I should bolt........but Like an antelope on the savannah, a watchful eye will hopefully alert us to danger! Keep em peeled is always the watchword on AIM!

250, your last paragraph is a classic example of how NOT to 'win friends and influence people' So LTH are now 'non- smart folk'...lmao! Yet here we are with a low average, having gone through the stress of early investment! Are we are the dummies who didn't see it coming............... AIM is a lottery, however, you place your bets. Many investors are learning 'on the hoof'...as I did many years ago. Many will lose & it never gets reported on mainstream news...unlike gambling with the bookies. But I and many here fancy our odds. We like the look of the course & we love the runners & riders........place your bets, hold your breath & keep your nerve...or fold! Crude

250GTI -thanks but no.....but I have heard you are quite reasonable with double glazing quotes. Can you give me a timeframe of when I could expect my new windows........providing of course if I buy into the 'window' concept...I'm not sure I need new windows....my old windows seemed perfectly adequate - but since this new chap seemed to offer such good replacements I'm now confused. He said they could be delivered by May but May has gone.....almost. It just seems you can't trust these double glazed window salesmen.......they are quick enough to sell you the idea but somehow the fitting is substandard or they are just not delivered on time............ Seriously, I mean no harm. It's a lovely afternoon & I'm just having a joke...........let's hope the joke isn't on us when the drilling starts. I know I will be nervous...but steadfast in my absolute belief in the geology...& of course, James Parsons & the Sound Energy Team!
