jas, you mention Sound Energy. I'm afraid that ship has already sailed. Today Sound announced very encouraging preliminary flow test figures that indicate a major gas find in Morocco. Sound have increased their market cap in the last two weeks from £80 million to currently £140 million. This is just the start as they drill more wells on the Tendrara structure & conduct further tests. It is only a pity that the Antrim Board did not take up their offer. AEY shareholders could be so much better off with a real future to look forward to: instead of the prospect of returning shareholder cash they could have been multi bagging. Oh well, that's AIM for you! Crude

Stockdale, are you saying you wouldn't recommend other junior E&Ps moving into Egypt or Tunisia. We at Sound Energy only acquired acreage in Morocco last June & already we are about to spud the first of a three well program, with an extensive well test happening on another Moroccan project later in the Summer. But we are looking for a third country - to go with Italy & Morocco. As a Sound investor I am very harpy with Morocco but wouldn't bee too keen on Egypt......not sure about Tunisia though. Crude

Ivor, he was CEO of Sound Oil & a Director of Antrim. But whilst at Sound he unfortunately nearly bankrupted us. He continued to hemorrhage CAPEX in Java when we just didn't have it. Luckily James Parsons took over & extricated us from Indonesia. Now we're cooking on gas. Gerry was/is a nice guy but he is a Geologist & not CEO material. James is an experienced & qualified business expansion operative & is perfect CEO Material. Crude

Bckttisim, If I had the time - but more importantly the free cash, I would buy (if my due diligence was successful) & post. But right now I am not invested; have no spare funds & therefore not able to commit the time for 'research'. In the meantime I rely on those that are invested; that leaves only you, seemingly. Instead of 'lay' ramping why not convert us with a simple parable of why it is virtuous for us would be disciples to submerse ourselves (& our wallets) in the Jubilant font & be baptised in the name of JUB...................if you can't manage that a few basic facts will suffice! Bckttsim, I am looking at this company & thinking the same. They were valued much higher. They have declined but surely cannot go much lower: now seems like a great buying opportunity. Buy big & wait for the upturn - it will come. Crude

Jack Sht...............I'm sensing some bitterness here. Your sombre posts echo many an AIM O&G investor. If it helps here are some sobering facts: 'Aim is more miss than hit for investors as it marks 20th anniversary': 'Over the past two decades, close to 3,000 companies have listed on Aim, but 72 per cent of them have never produced a return for investors, according to professors Elroy Dimson and Paul Marsh of the London Business School. But as one wag once commented: 'It's not dilution if it adds value. Those shares have enabled us to add considerable value.I consider Sound shareholders to be lucky (& in the minority) in that most can expect to see their investment returned with profit. But if you look at the AIm O&G over a long period and see what has happened to SPs relative to value it is prety dismal. Crude.........Jack - I have enjoyed reading your posts.

Ivor, that's way less than the £20 million we have on account. We generate cash already that covers our Italian G&A & will be initiating 4 million per annum revenue from the Nervesa 1 well within a few months. We have multiple projects that have intrinsic high value & a number of 'Majors' interested in farming into them. Your valuation is off somewhat.............. Crude

You guys still don't understand us (Sound Oil. We have a portfolio of assets that are regularly being permitted. We have finance & are attracting interest from the Majors. Our assets are predominantly low cost, on-shore with high end retail prices & low cost infrastructure. We are not ONE-TRICK-PONIES! Crude........apologies for emphasis but.......
