Thanks for posting that reply from JP Mancave. It seems 2019 is going to be fortuitous. What a difference to the board good news makes. I haven't been able to read much recently but all now seems optimistic. I have never had any doubts about my investment in Soumd Energy's Moroccan project or our CEO so I am looking forward to a successful LE conclusion. Meanwhile, another full day in Cozumel and another toast or two to all of us who are on this incredible Atlas Adventure...

Chas, I get back to UK on 22nd January and I must say I'm not looking forward to it. I've been snorkeling off Tortola with reef sharks and rays and all sorts of other adventures....plus, it is really warm out here in the Caribbean following in Francis Drake's wake. I even saw a 4d film about Drakes attack on Hispaniola when I was in Santo Domingo....amazing experience as Drake is one of my heroes...right up there with Capttain James Parsons!!

From Mexico and all looks very promising indeed. No more 14% COS for that strap trap. This latest RNS has certainly put a big smile on my face. The sands are not as tight possibly meaning gas bearing sands in that big trap; gas samples have been recovered and a flow test in February....I'll drink a tequila or two to that under the Mexican sunshine!!

I've had hardly any comms recently and am keen to understand what is the prognosis with the latest RNS. My initial understanding is we have found gas in the structural closure but we have not yet drilled into the strat trap. I thought the RNS very possitive as they intend fully testing down to the unconformity but as yet we may only be talking about a small amount of gas in the structural closure...is that about right? I'm here for a few hours if anyone would like to add more.

From Barbados. Just tuning in for the first time in nearly a week and having read a few lines of the RNS just now in my taxi things look extremely promising for 2019! I might have to knock a few rums back by way of celebration...if that isn't too hasty..........

Warn, I drove past the Cliff Bay...looks impressive. Reids is as you say faded grandeur but very civilised. In Las Palmas currently and berthed next to the mighty Queen Elisabeth...makes Magellan look rather puny. They say good things gs come in small packages but our swimming pool is leaking into our restaurant right into my designated table. It has buckets on catching the water and we have been relocated to a less waterlogged area of the dining room...bet it isn't like that on Queen Elisabeth!

In Madeira...how utterly civilised. Now if Sound Energy discover some more gas places like Reid's will be affordable and most certainly on ones itinerary........

Thanks trellis, you are all heart! I am nearly packed and have all Saturday to finalise things before departing Tilbury Sunday evening. It was supposed to be a world cruise but my wife didn't think she could cope with that amount of days (120) away from home and 'life'...so we had to curtail it to 37 days cruising the Caribbean and Central America. 'Oh well', as a certain British blues band once said. Anyway, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all Sound Energy investors...fingers well and truly crossed for TE10! I will of course be tuning in when wifi or 'roaming' allows from sunnier climbs.

PNE, no I only had time to participate & once that was over I had other, more pressing things to conclude. I only have a few days before I am embarking on a 37 day cruise of the Caribbean & Central America & time is precious...but funny enough I have time to spare at this moment. Did you speak to Brian post FSC?

Lucky, that is true but in order to come to that metric you need 4tcf of Gas OIP. Think in terms of 25% of gross gas equals your net amount & multiply by £1.50 for company sell value. So in that scenario 4 TCF becomes 1 TCF net & at £1.50 equals £1.50 per share...not including the wider license potential & Sidi Moktar of course. The wider license might be valued at 10% of the unproved volumes...but who validates those unproved volumes indicated by seismic is as yet unclear. A CPR would be one way of going about it but since they say no CPRs will be commissioned then I guess it is up to the potential buyer using our Data Room science...no independent party. But who mediates? Actual reserves can be classified, but Seismic data...how can that be valued fairly between two parties?
