As it's been said before, the results of the due diligence check will be the sink or float with LCCM & it's feasibility, they'll have access to all the numbers and resources to see if it's actually a worthwhile investment, i just hope the bank's quicker at sorting out paperwork than JP!

Negative outlook on the company is reflected in the share price. We all know we're taking a risk on it but it's just an educated decision based on current sky high copper prices which is V lucky for SML. Wouldn't have a chance to get funding without copper around $10k per tonne which might sway the bank to allow the $10m loan. We're all here on the premise that this will multiply over the next 12 months

Completely agree with you Stew, the current price is undervalued and that's solely based on the Cobre production and revenue. it doesn't move from 0.4-0.5p per share, so i assume we're at the bottom here.

Funding for LCCM is way more feasible now copper price is much higher than when the project began. Although progress has been slow previously the fundamental difference between then and now is the price of copper & I'm sure it will be a catalyst to get things moving for everyone within the production chain. SML is way ahead of any other AIM listed mining companies in terms of getting something into production. I'm sure once the revenue spikes it'll flag up on everyone else's radar and send the share price up

Yep, fortunately the Cornwall Resources team seem to be quite proactive too (morso than LCCM). Tin prices have also doubled in value over the past year. I'm hoping that the potential yield from Redmoor, the government's desire to start producing a native revenue stream (from the UK) and the fact that there's now significant surface deposits will allow CR/SML to get this revenue stream started quicker. Does anyone know expected production figures for Redmoor?

Yep, I've been monitoring it for a while and they've gone from "application in progress" to "licence holder" in the past few days. Either way i feel like this is progress being made - perhaps being a licence holder gives them authority to start mining? I'm not an expert on Australian mining legislation though!

I also assume with copper being a much higher price then when the project was started should mean funding will be easier & make everyone in the supply chain want to speed up the process & start cashing in.

If the link comes through as censored just google "Leigh Creek Copper Mine Pty Ltd" search for past week and you'll see it. Leigh Creek Copper Mine Pty Ltd is the subsidiary of SML in charge of the project.

Even if progress is announced i feel like we might have to wait for Q2 2022 revenue reports for SML to get attention from bigger investors & a share price multiplication (if LCCM comes into fruition and boosts the revenue stream in Q2). Happy just to hold and wait, i think it would be a mistake to sell now.

Nah you can sell if you want, i thought everyone was here to share news & opinions on what they think the company is doing & where the share price is going but it's just full of people complaining about delays

The stock price isn't moving from 0.4 ish - even after mining stock crash SML remains pretty much the same price.

If you have holdings now surely it's best just to hold & wait on the expectation that it could explode in value over the next 12 months. (It's why we're all here, pessimists & optimists alike)

Copper price although dropped yesterday will probably keep going up with increased demand & shortage of supply. CO2 net zero being a requirement/race for all countries (needed for EV's, generators, heat pumps, renewable's wind turbines, solar etc). If this is the case the copper could be sold for more after delays. Or they could sell the site for a profit & focus on Redmoor.

If you search "Leigh creek copper mine pty ltd" which is the subsidiary of SML on google & filter for posts from last week you'll find that they're actively applying for exploration licenses.

Recently (about 11 hours ago) they come up as a hit on a page "trattorianticoforno" which is a Chinese mining equipment manufacturer. However when you click on the link it just takes you to the homepage. Might be that LCCM pty ltd is in the underlying code somewhere (might be purchasing something?) still all speculative, but if you're in doubt & want an update i think searching "Leigh creek copper mine pty ltd" in google & filtering for the past week is the best way to see activity.

I joined the forum a few days ago on the hope to hear about something re Q3 LCCM progress, but no one had anything, so I emailed that email address on the website (as mentioned earlier) & got a response from John. I didn't know that this was necessarily that hard to get, (one email & a response in 4 hours, - beginners luck I guess!) It's down to you if you want to believe it, or not believe it (I take it you're the latter) that's fine! I'm not insulted, the email didn't give out any zesty Information regardless.

I thought i'd share it with the forum as I thought this was a forum to share updates on info people have acquired RE SML, doesn't seem to be that fruitful though. Wanted to also say my opinion but I guess the internet doesn't need any more of those ey?

¯\_('-')_/¯ agreed pretty crap & unfair way to come about them - but at the end of the day, at least there's still some incentive for the directors to increase the share price. Just saying that I'm optimistic about holding, setting my price alerts & leaving them be, even though progress is unfortunately v sluggish

I think 0.45 has been the average for so long now, even if it's delayed by 3 months, 6 months, I think holding onto this is a better idea than selling. It may dip a bit from 0.45 if it's delayed, but when it does go into production the revenue's going to spike & bring the share price up with it. JP's got 65m shares, he has so much incentive for it to do well. They've got all the licencing & approval, I imagine they're delayed by funding & contractors. I think it would be hasty to sell a small undervalued company sitting on a mound of revenue because of the stagnant share price, just my opinion

As you would know, getting these style of projects into production involves juggling a number of movable parts which have only been made harder by the ramifications of the global pandemic.

While I do anticipate updating the market on LCCM shortly, it would be inappropriate for me to be specific on timing or content outside of the actual market announcement.
