Just looked on the SARIG website at other PEPR's... Last one to be approved was for a company called "Central Iron Pty Ltd" - Owned by Peak Iron Mines

It was submitted on 29/11/2021 and approved on 18/02/2022

LCCM PEPR submitted on 19/01/2022 approval on 21/03/2022?? (with the same turnaround)

Just doing research and want this share price to increase sooner rather than later... would be nice to take a sabbatical right now!

Agree with you though Valu, inflation, war, critical weather events here in Aus (over for a visit), all leads to a higher demand for these resources, not to mention the higher number of retail investors and lack of value in the fixed interest market = more money in equities in general.

Third parties and consultancies conducted the work on the environmental impacts etc to ensure it's all savvy. A bloke called David Larsen did the sampling in the LCCM report, he looks pretty well experienced, (retired now) plenty of other successful copper mines in the area. Not too concerned about the resource.

I've got 3m shares at an average of 0.43p,

2p+ would be fantastic, I can even see 3p being achievable - it went to 3p back in 2017 - 2/3s of the current share issue back then, but profitability is higher and way more retail investors post COVID with a large emphasis on strategic metals (as we're coming to the commodity part of the cycle)

Good insight prop - do you have a figure at which you'll look at selling out?

5,100 oxide resource at the MOL plant - assuming there's 50% of that (they always over estimate) and 50% of the remaining revenue is lost for labour/costs etc - 25% (1250 tonnes @ $10,000) $12,500,000 profit to be made - circa $20m market cap? (including current $7m ish) I reckon 0.75p is feasible after news (at least)

That 6 mil share price movement at 15:23 on the share trades is a buy right? Huge trade

A lot of AIM miners in trouble today - as expected, hopefully the turnaround in the PM on the NY stock exchange indicates a better day on Friday

I was thinking about this the other day - if the current market cap was one of the issues preventing funding (from the well recognised global bank) would the option be on the table if the share price & market cap climbs after PEPR news?

To be fair - a lot of trades came in after 4pm... I think maybe a few people sold holdings to invest in rambler after thier RNS earlier, working those AIM miners. Nothing new on the DEM website or SARIG system so I assume the sells are just coincidental

Performing better than most of my portfolio tbf - if news comes out soon I wonder whether people will either squeeze it in the search for growth among a market of losses or be hesitant to put money in because of market volatility.

Copper would do well tbf under all scenarios (has gone up around 2% this year - relatively unaffected by inflation woes and Ukraine) so hopefully current volatility doesn't affect growth

Yeah - Lupi that's what i said about dilution - there were 1,218,492,227 shares in issue compared to 2,000,150,000 so if the same level of rise occurred this time round it would be 61% of 3.35 so around 2.04p

Ah right - thanks slurm - even so some positive factors at play here - it's going to be an interesting few months

5 years ago the SP shot up from a similar region (0.4p) to 3.35p over the course of a few months - I think the news that sent it up was the "substantial new client at cobre" RNS

Hopefully that can happen again (also copper is much more valuable than magnetite) however things going against the SP are dilution (I'm not sure by how much since march 2017 - probably a ****e tonne) and a crap & untrustworthy BOD where sentiment is much lower now than back then

Things for the SP substantial copper (&tin) demand, venture capital interest in commodities and much higher levels of retail investors & money in the stock market in general. I'm not sure whether these positives will outweigh the negatives enough (in particular dilution) to have such an increase & at speed this time round.

Ofc know these things take time and happy to hold on long term but would be nice to get a pay out sooner rather than later

Sammy sad to hear that and an apt warning for anyone investing in AIM. I really hope the following months get you back up to a reasonable exit (although I can see why you and others would be skeptical)

Lupi - there were forums posted earlier discussing the RNS indicates a speedy turnaround for the PEPR - it's worded as if the PEPR is all but agreed in formality so i think a few people were hoping for a response in a number of weeks

You're right - they're completely within SLA and even if we got it back in 2 months that would be a quick turnaround, but i just came across the realization of the COVID numbers and thought i'd share

Also DEM have to regulate the responsibility of mining firms with COVID-19, i imagine staff have been working double time to ensure that mines in South Australia adhere to the rules:

To be fair i think I've figured out what the delays have been caused by...

The PEPR was submitted on the 5th of Jan, the DEM is located in Adelaide and look at the COVID cases in Adelaide from 5th of January... basically the highest numbers they've ever had. This 100% would of caused delays - they've just recently started going back into offices etc

The JV partners haven't even been shown around just yet Fira and copper is an attractive environment for JV at the moment (just see props posts) imagine they'd be awaiting the PEPR approval before solid offers are made. Just bloody wish the DEM would give a response already!

Fira the total estimate resource at LCCM is 37,000 tonnes of copper (as per the SML website) assuming it's half this (as they always over estimate) and taking off half the revenue for labour and everything else (leaving 9250 tonnes IE 25% of the total estimated revenue) at $10k per tonne comes to $92,500,000 giving a $42,500,000 profit to whoever picks it up for $50m I think this is quite a conservative estimate and this assumes they want to sell it on as refined copper

That amount of tonnage is pretty significant for an EV producer so if a couple of them got into a bidding war over it I can see it being purchased for more
