Aussie school holidays finished this week so I'm wondering whether the tardy admin staff at the DEM have just come back - agree it is taking bloody ages though to recheck a few ammendments

I reckon there might be a bid for acquisition if the PEPR approval goes through without a hitch and we get the right "potential funders" in & walking around the facility - market's volatile and copper is remaining constant (as expected) .

With everything running low and clean energy/EV companies struggling to meet demands there might be companies that want to stake thier claim on this deposit - if so I can see bids of $50m+ being achievable for LCCM, if they went for the company and wanted redmoor chucked in then potentially higher but I'm not sure how much money people would value redmoor at in current condition. - not sure what anyone else thinks

I reckon JP will be banging on the DEMs door about this PEPR before their visit - surely it can't be long before they get the thumbs up.

I don't understand what the admin at DEM are doing if they're taking 2 months to sort it and they've basically agreed all but in formality (according to the last Leigh creek RNS)

So he's pocketed 3 million dollars & holds 80 million shares - if he's as money hungry as he's made out to be a SP increase to 1p would give him £800k of asset? 2p and he'd of made half the money he's been remunerated... Given his age i presume a pump and dump as soon as possible would be on his cards right now

JP's doubled down twice over the past two months by purchasing more shares, prior to that (& the October placement) last time he purchased was end of 2020. As low as sentiment is towards him, he will have the inside track to all of us - I don't believe that there's further dilution to come based on his further share purchases, it just does not seem logical to chuck money in and then half the SP

Fira, the SP rise will come in stages - i wouldn't be surprised to see a jump back up to the 0.6-0.7's on the PEPR RNS, will hit a few sell orders along the way though.

After PEPR approval, there will no doubt be a few JV offers if they're showing some people around in Feb, a bidding match between a few potential partners will kick it back above the 1p mark. I do see great JV interest in copper atm, especially with this mine valued so low compared to the indicated resource.

Although punctuality hasn't been this BOD's strong suit i can see that the revised PEPR was submitted at the start of Jan on the SARIG website, logically speaking I really don't think the DEM will go through the whole thing and they'll just check the amendments. Can't be long now.

Hopefully after today's top up he'll give the DEM a chase for an update on the submitted PEPR... Surely can't be long left on that check.

They're showing around some JV partners in Feb. Hopefully there's a few bids (or even a attempt at an acquisition). I think investment firms will see copper as a consistent asset in a time of mental volatility (pricing hasn't budged over the past month), I can see it being a staple for the foreseeable.

30% of my portfolio is in Baillie Gifford funds which aren't boding well. Hoping the recovery post drop doesn't take too long to get me back in the green!

Stable SP today - a relief compared to the rest of my holdings!

Contained oxide predictions are on the website - indicated oxide resource of Paltrige north [only] is 5,100 tonnes of copper - assume it'll be significantly lower as with all mining operations, but even at 50% of this it still equates to around $25m, enough to get the ball rolling

Actually i guess at a purchase of $20m they might as well buy out the whole company with the market cap being so low...

P2CR - a good insight - does anyone have a reasonable figure of how much SML could sell a oxide only LCCM for?

Would have to be in the double digit $mil's (surely!) and what this would to the SP.

I imagine a sell of , for example $20m /2b shares would result in a cash/SP of 1 cent (0.73p) although i could be way off with estimate and calculation (and on the wacky baccy in Fira's words). Hopefully if sold the value would be double this, but i'm interested to see what people think

We're coming to the part of the market cycle where inflation's spiking and people are huddling to commodities to sustain growth. With tech stocks slowing down I think a lot of venture capital is going to move away from AIM tech to AIM commodities (miners) for returns. With pressure on all governments to meet lower carbon figures regardless of what the market is doing copper is, in my eyes, a good investment - fingers crossed for this PEPR resub which if approved will open up a lot of conversations.
