Production plan at leigh creek25 Oct 2021 21:33
Sent an email in regarding the production plan at Leigh Creek, as i was wondering whether any of the funds were set aside for production (labor hire, contractors etc) John's listed the plan below. This was because i was concerned about any future dilution (to pay for production costs) looks like we've got enough budget set aside for at least 4 months of production when started.
Hopefully get the PEPR in a month or so & funding shortly after, which confirms that these are the only two hurdles left with regard to LCCM
"Tom,
Our current plans are for Leigh Creek to be staffed by three direct hires. The Mine Manager John Speck, who we have hired, a mud range manager and a junior. Their jobs will be focused on overseeing two main contractors and developing the asset, including drilling. One contractor will be responsible for extracting/mining material, sifting material into larger sizes, so as to increase the permeability of the heaps and place this on the heaps. A second contractor is then responsible for filtering the acid over the heap pads and processing this through Kennecott cones into our saleable copper cement to be sold under our off take arrangement.
Our budgets account for this and some limited capital expenditure identified when we previously restarted the Mountain of Light operation. The major funding requirement is paying for the three to four months of mining before revenues commence.
Once the PEPR is unconditional and we have funding we should be good to go.
Regards
John Peters SML"
