Whilst you’re on about the blog I’d just like to thank you for the extensive time you put into it. You clearly throughly enjoy it. Which I do too. I popped on the other day and found required information in five minutes but it seemed to take another five hours to leave once trawling. Talking of trawling, I totally agree with the buoyancy thing with PSN and that is why I invested there. I do wander how long it will take to be realised though. Maybe once the, hopefully second dividend is announced?
I purchased Bdev and PSN within a week of each other back around the start of October and my average including divs. PSN £11.68- Bdev £3.76
One regret, I do so wish I’d entered your SWR although I can play along on the sidelines. Definitely next year!

Taking the dividend into account that puts PSN up about 2.8% today. Third place out of the five I watch today. Behind RDW & BWY, up on BDEV & TW

It wasn’t a slur on PSN. Just a probable reason for the increased decline compared to others. On a side note. No debt I believe?

Have a look at some of Persimmon’s peers
Redrow, Barratt & Bellway. All trading at a discount between 23 & 26% PBV. Imagine if PSN traded at those levels

I remember the day well. 13/10. It went 2.01 before rallying up to 2.16. Then the CPI data came out over the pond. All indexes jolted 3% and LGen fell back to 2.04 before finishing the day back somewhere around 2.18 or something. My last buy here that day

I just wandered. I trade here in an ISA and do like the chance of a ‘run’ on dividend stocks like LGen coming up to dividend times. What puts me off US equities is their low divs generally and the 15% tax implications for myself. I have been thinking about expanding ‘ over there’ at random opportunities but the above seems to halt me.

Britain’s biggest housebuilder Barratt is to open a £45m timber frame factory to build more homes off site and meet the 2025 Future Homes Standard.

The firm believes the factory will help it reach its commitment of becoming carbon neutral by 2030, by which time it wants 30% of its homes to be built using modern methods of construction.

The company bought the timber manufacturer Oregon in 2019 and will relocate it this summer from Burton-upon-Trent to the just completed 186,000 square foot facility, which it says is “cutting-edge”, at Infinity Park in Derby.

Anyone that wants to make money surely sees beyond the end of their noses! Once the next housing boom starts (when interest rates start dropping) it’s too late to invest.
Personally, I have a lot invested in Shell and done extremely well, but I will be selling 50% of shell shares in my ISA and putting into PSN. It’s a no brainier. ??

I’m happy to wait. If it’s 1, 2 or even 5 years to get back to the SP of Christmas ‘21
