Not sure what to make of this… second time it’s been pushed back, many assumed big Chuditch news might coincide or sit very close to this event. Not automatically a bad sign for Chuditch, but an unexpected twist?
Just as one example, retail small cap funds tend to have a £100 million MC threshold before ever taking a position, but that’s not to say those types of fund managers aren’t aware of and tracking BOIL’s progress :)
This morning from the Zak Mir podcast; Friday’s uptick has rattled the chartists’ cages a little (breaking out of the 50 and 200 day moving averages), with £0.0014 being the next milestone according to the tea leaves. TA may have the credibility of a horoscope when it comes to micro caps, but semi-interesting nevertheless.
Thanks for sharing this. A helpful article in re-telling the story about the political backdrop and impasse that has dogged this region and the progress that could otherwise have been made with these fields. On the one hand it reminds us of the issues that HFBs has regularly described, but on the other, the feedback from the BoD Q&A recently signalled a more thoughtful or open minded approach being taken by the TL authorities.
@Shouston, genuine thanks for the AGM feedback, some excellent signals within the BoD feedback and I’m sure has given many on here a lift. Their response regards TM not being the only game in town is very encouraging and maybe a game changer based on what we had surmised on that front. Future’s beginning to look exciting here!
Hi Max-P, recommend reading the updated brokers note (someone shared the link yest, further down the thread, you can’t miss it). Also recommend reading the Jan 2022 RNS, that links you to the virtual presentation the BoD did on the Chuditch project and it’s options, cheers
@Phoebus, yes, the pessimist in me doesn’t like that phrase lol (I remember writing a Committee paper for work once and used exactly that phrase to basically characterise that we’ve not achieved what we hoped but are going to try harder going forward…). But I’ve little experience with how long these sorts of deals can take, particularly given the complicated (and binary) political backdrop that I imagine is a key question mark for potential partners.
Regards final sentence in the extract below from the RNS, didn’t give me the positive impression re finding a deal that I’d hoped, given we’ve been ‘in the market’ so to speak for offers since Sept… or is that unreasonable and I’m reading too much into it?
“There remains the final push to be done in the form of the interpretation of the reprocessed 3D seismic data, which is expected to commence in June and we look forward to updating the market on the results of the final 3D pre-stack depth migration data thereafter. From there, we will re-double our efforts on the farmout process.”
