Aside from the states this news changes nothing in the rest of the world for us and Stars, so it’s only the US premium in the price at risk which based on NJ so far should not be as high as some may think. It’s would be harsh and a knee jerk if the price went too far south of £1 on this news alone. Time to batten down the hatches again….. I bet Springowl are none too pleased about this, they brought the £50m of shares at about 1.26 I think, so they are looking at a pretty big lump of that down the pan already. Not a good day, as you say £1 is clearly on the cards in the short term, I just hope there’s some strong resistance at that level. In the hope of that resistance I’m holding on as any sell now would seem a waste with only another 5p downside but if we do breach the £1 level then I’m going to have egg on my face. Fingers and everything crossed.

The BOD getting their act together…..That statement does not feel me with confidence.As you say they are not doing a great job in NJ without competition to speak of so I fear Stars turning up will all but wipe us out. And the really big issue now is California, that was our chance to turn a corner and now it’s gone bye bye. Still holding for the time being as I’m not the type to knee jerk but feeling pretty down right now.

This now removes any chance of party making any money in the US, full access will be allowed to Stars now.

Well, that explains the pullback earlier..As long as there are no more in the pipeline we should see the price start to recover again now.

Hi mate Great holiday thanks, been back a week or so but far too busy at work to look in since my return. Seems I didn’t miss much then!! Other than the price dropping from 128 on the first day I was away, was there any reason at all for that or just sector gloom as 888 fell a far bit as well.

Hello stranger, I think the saying goes “sell in May and go away” You’re right about the price, it does seem to be holding up for now, is it the Ader effect I wonder? It does make you think twice before selling prior to the AGM….interest times ahead.

Well Kamel, no one can say your posts are too vague lol. Another well thought out and detailed post. I have to say there’s little to disagree with, my main fear as you say is wherever we operate as soon as Stars get their foot in the door we may as well put the white flag up. This is most true of the US, my optimism for expansion there has diminished over the last 6 months as things are moving much more slowly than anticipated and the longer it takes the less time Party will have to get a foothold before Stars come back in. My long term view is now more negative due to this fact alone, I’ve stuck with this for years as I refused to walk away at a loss which was at one time running at 5 figures, now I’m actually in a slight profit after endless trading on the spikes and drops over that time and of course the dividends, so I’m only hanging on now for the next spike which I’m sure we will see one way or another in the months to come to then crystallise my profit and just leave a small holding on the off chance things get turned around in the future. It’s been an interesting ride.
