There must be an RNS this week, substantial adjustment to the trial, expecting something tomorrow you can’t leave this to be found out via websites.

I wonder if being the 30th April tomorrow we will get an update, end of month, 6 weeks into trials and seems a logical time to provide a rounded report in progress and timescales for trial results.

Double D if that is true which it could be I posted a link with details of the company looking after the trial last week (long term partners of Synairgen). How would you explain the HRA update? What prompted them to make those changes? Experience of other trials? Medical expertise and knowledge? Or data being fed back that it is not being delivered early enough?

What we do know is our drug is not the one referenced by Matt H yesterday in his briefing. But not sure what stage that puts others at, article suggests phase 2 which is where we are currently. I thought if this trial was a success then we might skip phase 3 and get approval, they are talking about months with the other drug before it moves to phase 3. Is 100 enough? Seems very small pool and would think more is needed in another phase even if the data is good.

Window for us will be mid May onwards so another 3 weeks. I agree Sharesting huge potential in Care Homes if we can take the trial in that direction. I am still not sure how to take the update on the HRA yesterday frustration?, positive? Richard said further updates will follow at the AGM that was two weeks ago so would expect something for end of April but let’s not forget focus is on making a trial that normally last months successful in 8 weeks.

Let’s not forget it clearly states that it should speed up recruitment numbers, suggests we are still some way from getting to 100. Some of this when matched with RM video is interesting, talk of no Grey data and wanting to ensure data is sufficient to getting approvals at the next stage suggests this is a reaction to something. Interpretation of what that something is makes for interesting debate. Not getting. Sufficient results and therefore getting in earlier? Or seeing potential of early treatment and wanting to firm it up, confirms for me either way that the right people have access to the data even though double blinded.

Fascinating, but if a blinded trial how do they know if they don’t have access to the data? Or maybe they do ....

Interesting link, not seen the update but suggests recruitment into the trials not been as straight forward as we expected. Is that referencing one hospital or the whole study? Agree it seems we might be getting to patients later than hoped, still plenty of time in the trial to get the 100 needed. I know it’s double blinded but someone will know the data maybe not the DRs Nurses or Hospitals etc but sure Tom and Richard have access to it.....

To be fair to Warwick Lad you need to read the RNS well and understand the placing numbers to see Link have not sold any. Also there was an unhelpful article stating Link were selling due to the Woodford fiasco, when I queried the article with the writer he said he assumed from the RNS they were selling complete trash. Griffiths sold out and I would imagine the 22 million from him and Lansdowne is with PI or available to buy hence we are at 55p rather than 80p

Also Link have not been selling, Lansdowne have held the price back, chart clearly shows every time a rise it has been sold into.

But what is if interest is the speed of recruitment to the various trials mentioned in the article. Leicester could be like Birmingham and already fully recruited for.

Also take a look at the Non-Executives on the board of Transcrip, they have strong connections in the industry and if we get favourable results I am sure the bigger players will be in contact if not already.

I think they have been gearing up for a home trial all along not in response to current developments. Look at the detail they submitted for the clinical trial and it states the following:

3. Patients admitted to hospital due to the severity of their COVID-19 disease OR non-hospitalised patients from high-risk co-morbidity groups such as the >65-years of age, or those with hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes or a chronic lung condition

I assume we have seen some of the placing shares sold off this week surpresing the SP. Do you know what SNG were doing in the US last month? Assume making contacts? Exciting times ahead.

You might be thinking of Griffiths who has sold down his 15 million shares over the last month. Last RNS indicated he had dropped below 3%, either he still has around 3 million left or has sold out completely. Those 15 million shares now sit somewhere else question for me is are they with PI or have we got an institution coming onboard like another poster indicated by the pattern of trading. These 15 mill have held the share price back IMO.

I saw this article but it is poorly informed and not factual. It refers to Link advising they have sold down in an RNS on the 30th of March, looking at the detail of that RNS and previous ones for Link the shares held are the same it is the % that has changed and this is due to a change in shares in issue due to the placing week just gone. No evidence of selling down and lazy writing IMO. Check for yourself to see the facts.
