The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Seems the go pro video on twitter suggest "H" being a helicopter pad.
More than likely used for crew but also samples could be collected quicker, management could be flown in/out. Certainly beats using the roads, perhaps flying in a Minister of Government on discovery, lol.
CLSK used to be roughly a third of Mara sp, now it nearly halve.
Bitcoin rallied from low $25000 but miners not so interested, is it energy costs i.e recent Texas news of miners earning more switching off? or difficulty increasing?
Tempted to add but dags is right, got to keep some powder dry just in case.
nu, stinks as suspected, you scratch the surface and dig around and you'll find loads more i suspect.
as for all this charity bull****, its a means of pretence, a front really.
No I havent calmed down.
This is a stitch up, it feels contrived. I have made a profit here, but nothing like the profit that would have come down the line in 2-3yrs. Now that potential is gone into the pockets of the select few. RS is a disgrace and I hope he is never involved in a listing again, as I will be the first to remind people of what was done here.
The shares are released to those of us who were lucky to buy more. And I'm holding for discovery now, I think with these two targets that one will come good and that is a game changer, the publicity alone should see 50p range i hope.
This time around it all seems to be more professional setup, proper O&G approach, as it should be as helium acts just like CO2.
"2.6. Trap efficacy, leakage and destruction
Once 4He and associated gases have migrated into a gas trap, the preservation of 4He in that trap is a function of the rate at which 4He is supplied to the gas pool less the rate at which helium leaks out. The capillary entry pressure required to force helium gas through the seal is similar to that of CO2 (Wollenweber et al., 2009). Thus seals which are suitable for CO2 and hydrocarbon gases would similarly trap helium with this mechanism. Diffusive loss however, is a function of atomic or molecular mass, and helium has a higher diffusion coefficient than other gases."

For any who like technical reads...
The size is so much bigger than last drill.
Slide 9 - Import prices^ in January 2023 were up 39% to US$457/mscf
This could be a huge story if discovery this time around. There will be no problem in financing and getting a processing facility with "low CAPEX development of strategic size resource"
Compare last Tai drill photo of drill pad compared recent Tai-C photos, the difference in approach and size is significant imo

So does that mean the resource of the magnitude once heralded just isn’t there and to borrow a helium pun, the claims were just hot air?
“Not at all,” says Chief executive David Minchin who insists the claims are still valid, and the risk and exploration has now been reduced significantly at the Rukwa basin. What the 2021 drilling campaign revealed was a working helium system which tantalisingly and maddeningly stopped short of flowing gas to surface.”We have strong indications of gas. In fact I’m confident to say that we did discover gas, however we weren’t able to flow it to surface, so I’m not able to say things like proven or identified. It’s indicative and pointing towards.”

Highlights
· QEMSCAN analysis by RockType has provided information on reservoir quality, mineralogy, seal potential and grain size distribution of entire sedimentary sequence at Tai-1/-1A
· Indicates good to excellent quality reservoir, demonstrating clean sands with very low clay content
· Confirms presence of thick claystone units at Top Karoo Group and Base Lake Bed Formation, as well as multiple intraformational claystone units
· Assists with seismic interpretation away from the wellbore to help identify seismic facies and aid the de-risking of future targets
· Data used to interpret environments of deposition and sediment provenance to better predict reservoir and seal distribution and quality
David Minchin, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"The identification of claystones within a predominantly reservoir rich and sandy sequence offers potential sealing horizons throughout our target stratigraphy. Claystone units are best developed at the Top Karoo Group and Base Lake Bed Formation, however several intraformational clays also allow the potential for stacked seals to develop within these formations and helium to be encountered on multiple horizons from near surface to basement - as it was at Tai.
"The correlation of claystone horizons to specific seismic reflectors enables us to map the lateral extent of these potential sealing units across to other mapped leads and prospects. Mineralogical and grain size distribution information also allows us to develop our understanding of the depositional model and better understand variation in seismic character to aid future exploration efforts. The HE1 team are already reaping the benefits of integrating this new information with our recently acquired 2D seismic data.
"This analysis maximises the value from the drilling at Tai by providing additional geological data to reduce risk in planning our 2022 drilling campaign."
Will do the talking but I suspect some are accumulating large volumes on the understanding that in 2021 DM was going to declare discovery if it wasn't for the hole deterioration not allowing him to nail it.
Its nearly showtime folks, you should have done all your research, looked at the finer points of 2021, looked at what is underway at Tai-C and made your decisions.
Options taken because they know something we don't, the last drill was a discovery imo if they had used proper rig. The management have the data and the finer details of the last drill. Of course you'd get your options sorted prior to drilling. AIMHO

Double topped at $26k, is the gap to be filled around $20k next?
Working Helium System, that's what DM stated, which implies the helium is continuing to be produced, its a goldilocks zone , where the geology produces it due to the East African Rift.
