Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Compare last Tai drill photo of drill pad compared recent Tai-C photos, the difference in approach and size is significant imo

So does that mean the resource of the magnitude once heralded just isn’t there and to borrow a helium pun, the claims were just hot air?
“Not at all,” says Chief executive David Minchin who insists the claims are still valid, and the risk and exploration has now been reduced significantly at the Rukwa basin. What the 2021 drilling campaign revealed was a working helium system which tantalisingly and maddeningly stopped short of flowing gas to surface.”We have strong indications of gas. In fact I’m confident to say that we did discover gas, however we weren’t able to flow it to surface, so I’m not able to say things like proven or identified. It’s indicative and pointing towards.”

Highlights
· QEMSCAN analysis by RockType has provided information on reservoir quality, mineralogy, seal potential and grain size distribution of entire sedimentary sequence at Tai-1/-1A
· Indicates good to excellent quality reservoir, demonstrating clean sands with very low clay content
· Confirms presence of thick claystone units at Top Karoo Group and Base Lake Bed Formation, as well as multiple intraformational claystone units
· Assists with seismic interpretation away from the wellbore to help identify seismic facies and aid the de-risking of future targets
· Data used to interpret environments of deposition and sediment provenance to better predict reservoir and seal distribution and quality
David Minchin, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"The identification of claystones within a predominantly reservoir rich and sandy sequence offers potential sealing horizons throughout our target stratigraphy. Claystone units are best developed at the Top Karoo Group and Base Lake Bed Formation, however several intraformational clays also allow the potential for stacked seals to develop within these formations and helium to be encountered on multiple horizons from near surface to basement - as it was at Tai.
"The correlation of claystone horizons to specific seismic reflectors enables us to map the lateral extent of these potential sealing units across to other mapped leads and prospects. Mineralogical and grain size distribution information also allows us to develop our understanding of the depositional model and better understand variation in seismic character to aid future exploration efforts. The HE1 team are already reaping the benefits of integrating this new information with our recently acquired 2D seismic data.
"This analysis maximises the value from the drilling at Tai by providing additional geological data to reduce risk in planning our 2022 drilling campaign."
Will do the talking but I suspect some are accumulating large volumes on the understanding that in 2021 DM was going to declare discovery if it wasn't for the hole deterioration not allowing him to nail it.
Its nearly showtime folks, you should have done all your research, looked at the finer points of 2021, looked at what is underway at Tai-C and made your decisions.
Options taken because they know something we don't, the last drill was a discovery imo if they had used proper rig. The management have the data and the finer details of the last drill. Of course you'd get your options sorted prior to drilling. AIMHO

Double topped at $26k, is the gap to be filled around $20k next?
Working Helium System, that's what DM stated, which implies the helium is continuing to be produced, its a goldilocks zone , where the geology produces it due to the East African Rift.
Absolutely Newuncle, this smacks of backroom deal. £11 to £1.50 is utter contempt for PIs a smash and grab.
RS has certainly put paid to being a CEO who is investable in the future after this debacle.
Absolutely disgusted with all this news of offer, seems pre-arranged to me, RS never liked having to answer to PI's, he had an air of contempt and obviously prefers dealing with individuals of HNW.
Exactly Bluray, got to be one of the hottest stocks for Q3/4 news. Drilling potential for billions cu ft of green helium.
Will the FOMO Fridays return, lol.
I'd like to see more info on the Itumbula prospect, it was earmarked back in 2021 to drill but obviously helps if you get a proper O&G rig. 10.2% seeps and similar to Tai-C, 3 way closure, and 800m Karo depth.
In September 2015, Bluett and Abraham-James launched Helium One. The next three years brought excitement and frustration. They sampled the gases from the Itumbula springs and found what Barry called “a shedload of helium.”
https://www.wired.com/story/green-helium-mining/
"The next day, in need of an emotional lift, Minchin headed to the springs in Itumbula village, where T. C. James had taken his gas samples nearly 70 years earlier. It was a hot afternoon, and he took off his shoes and waded out in a murky lake beside some salt ponds, aiming for a stream of bubbles some distance out from the shore."
LG your problem is that when people see their value of their holding reduce, they don't need someone kind of gloating. You didn't post once your concerns, it was constant, de-ramping in tone, so please stop posting the "know-all" "told you so".
Congrats you had you doubts confirmed, but please consider other peoples feelings and losing profits hurts!
BTW I suspect anyone who constantly posts negative, long winded posts, makes one believe you not holding and want in at a prize that suits you. As in my book, anyone who holds wants the sp to do well and is excited.
Think before you feel you have to post a long winded post that tbh adds no value :-)
Its different completely from 2021.
In hindsight, did anyone criticise the rig? question why not O&G rig? No
If you listen to the latest proactive update, LB clearly states that this is being prepped, drilled and tested the same as a Oil & Gas drill this time. Add in the new rig, lessons learnt, Tai-C drilled in 3-way fault, another good prospect and the more professional approach, then we are in a much better position.

Similar 3-way structure with 800m to Karoo. LB explains how its 1km from very high seeps of 10%, this prospect does sound exciting.
https://www.helium-one.com/projects/rukwa-project/
The savings alone of $4m in having rig and mobilised team in place make a lot of sense in LB and management realising this was a good call.
Now its all about getting that discovery declared and that will be a game changing event.
@Art I think it's about moving quickly before rainy season. Then they can do further work afterwards. But bjg savings to use same crew and important to get that discovery announcement, which will obviously be the game changer.
